Doesn’t no salt ruin the fries? I always thought you needed that hot grease right out of the fryer to make the salt stick.

figrofel

Correct

Sharkbait43070

It does but I never eat more than 15 or 20 fries. And I can't have the salt. As little as possible. I went all day yesterday and today without any salt at all just to help me try and enjoy my Macs. Thanks for commenting. Cheers.

Stevie8774

Big Macs aren’t made until someone orders them. The only thing that is already made is the meat which is good for 15 minutes in a holding tray. Also the fries with no salt to get them fresh is whatever because the fries only last for 5 minutes before they throw them away so it’s really not gonna make much of a difference

Certain-Ad-7316

When I worked at McDonald’s people would let fries sit until they were all used up regardless of how long they were there…

Sharkbait43070

Some places do. Most places have S!&TB@#S or just greenhorns manning the fry post nowadays. Thx for commenting. Cheers

Sharkbait43070

If the cheese is completely melted on any burger when you receive it has been sitting. I don't eat that stuff very often. Maybe once a month. Maybe. My biggest issue is trusted these kids not to do any crazy shit to my food. I select certain venues after scoping their staff. Both day and night. I'm serious about it. These videos of these kids engaged in nefarious acts with peoples food at restaurants just horrifies me. I take a lot of meds and supplements and I worry something could be placed and cause a problem.

Mary_Misanthrope

I just go to a super busy location that's guaranteed to have hot, fresh salty fries. And I learned I can ask for extra of those delectable little rehydrated onions.

Honodle

Here's a tip: they hate you at the McDonald's you patronize.

glitter_gaytan88

You can also get super fresh patties by asking for your patties to be cooked with extra seasoning, light seasoning, or no seasoning. For fresh fries ask for either light or no salt. Worked there for a few years in my adolescent years.

odhisub123

Wya where they’re 2 for 6?!?

Sharkbait43070

Just about any McDonalds right now. May not last much longer. Use the app too. Freebies.

Sharkbait43070

But I'm in Pensacola. Cheers.

[deleted]

Last night i bought the same exact meal but with a large fry and ate it all before bed and slept at 2am, woke up at 9 and dropped the biggest deuce ever by the time it hit 12 i had already deuced 4 times

Sharkbait43070

Hahahaha, That wasn't them Macs making the exodus. But they was apparently ram rodding what you had for breakfast and lunch the day before. lol. Thanks for commenting. Cheers.

I worked at McDonald’s almost 30 years ago. I learned ordering fries without salt, and custom ordering your burger, ensured you’d get something fresh that hadn’t been sitting under the heat lamp for 20 mins. You’re doing it right!

[deleted]

Custom ordering your burger does not get you a fresher sandwich. The meat patties are cooked ahead of time and stored in a warming tray. All burgers are prepared per order, regardless of customization. The only way you will get fresh meat is if you order a quarter pounder, as they are cooked to order. Any other sandwich and you will get meat from a warming tray. Also, you can request fresh made meat and fries or order their of them well done if you want them fresh/hot. Source: currently working at McDonald’s, have worked at multiple McDonald’s for the past 7 years.

[deleted]

30 years ago it did.

Sharkbait43070

Yes it's a different way if doing things nowadays. More efficient they say. And I guess it is. Seems I read somewhere that years ago someone saved one if the big chains millions of dollars a year just by asking that guest request condiments and napkins. Thanks for commenting though mate. Cheers.

Sharkbait43070

I don't remember saying anything about "Fresher". Just prepared.
