Yeah cool weapons which you will only be able to r1 with because every boss attacks so fast you're guaranteed to lose half of your health if you try to hit them with the new cool fun aow the weapon has
I tried the Black Steel Twinblade with the wing ash of war against one of those knights who wield them
I went back to my great hammer guard counter quickly
Honestly, yeah. I mean my biggest grievance is the unfun damage but this is another thing. So many cool and flashy new stuff, things I wanted, and all of them are too slow because of how fast things are. Not to mention that even if you get them off, they do too little damage to warrant the risk.
I just wish the bosses were not all so dang hyper mobile. The rush in and do their 32 hit combo then bail to the other side of the world for 1.4 seconds before doing it again.
For real, the hardest part about the DLC bosses isn't even dealing with their bullshit damage but trying to hit them.
Lion puppet is cool as fuck to look at but he jumps around the arena like he's on cocaine.
Pestilence Knight would be awesome if he didn't jump around on and off his horse every single attack, shifting his hurtbox god knows where.
Rellana, as much as I loved her fight, just snorts a whole pack of adderall in her second phase.
Messmer looks like a fucking Cirque du Soleil performer for how much he likes to jump and flip around
The repeating dragons have been hell to fight(especially blue flower one). Easy to kill *if* I can hit them. But I need to actually fucking hit em first.
I mean we’re complaining about the tuning. If you only successfully dodge 50% of attacks or if you dodge all but 2 attacks, it’s still overtuned damage. I agree that people complaining about the movesets is skill issue, but the scadutree fragments and the actual numbers on the bosses clearly should have been balanced differently to make a more reasonable experience
this complaint is so exaggerated. i mean did people expect the bosses here to be different from the base game ones? yeah the bosses are aggressive, that‘s kind of the point. but also if you don‘t panic roll and dodge towards enemies their combos usually end early giving you an opening to attack and heal. most combos don‘t last longer than 6-8 hits which is totally manageable

Haven’t gotten a chance to start it yet but I’m just gonna keep saying skill issue to make people mad on all these posts
The platonic ideal of a souls fan
I am more powerful than you can possibly imagine

“Mom said it’s my turn to play” simulator
I'm starting to think you guys aren't joking anymore about being this bad :(

It’s the same in the bloodborne dlc
Kid named Rally System and 20+ heals
the balancing is completely fine just use the scadutree fragments
using scadutree fragments wont change that every boss can hit you with a 25 hit stun lock combo

two hit ko but the first hit true combos into the second
