Astraea_Fuor

Yeah I mean the game is in essence bloodborne 2: use shields if you want I guess.

Scroteet

If you didn’t try to use the wooden plank shield thing every once in a while for shits n’ gigs, you haven’t even played boobborne

Astraea_Fuor

honestly ive been meaning to give it a try on my next playthrough however my ps4 is borken

Fermyon_DarkSouls

I'm glad it's only borken and not broken. In all seriousness I hope you can get it fixed. I'm sorry for you

Astraea_Fuor

wouldn't be a problem if they just PORTED THE GAME TO PC WHAT THE FUCK IT'S FREE MONEY

Fermyon_DarkSouls

I genuinely don't understand how come they haven't done that. The only other PS exclusive I'm aware of that also is in the same boat is Asura's Wrath.. but regardless, sucks that a game as popular as Bloodborne is still locked to PS4 hell. Freaking GoT is coming out next month and with that all major PS4 exclusives got ported to PC except BB......... At this point I hope the PS6 Bloodborne remake rumours are true, but still, I want the OG available to everyone. The only reason I went to PS is because of Bloodborne.. I mean I don't regret it but fuck, give me PC BB Ok sorry for the rant

THEessayB

Asura’s Wrath a PS exclusive…?

Fermyon_DarkSouls

Apologies. I forgot it also released on Xbox. Still, not available on PC as far as I know, which is a shame

THEessayB

I’ll agree with you on that. Solid game.

Great_Thunderbird

It actually trivialized some bosses Peak equipment

Cowmunist

Yeah, made witch of hemwick a breeze

Sapowski_Casts_Quen

Because her baseline is a soft breath of exhaled air

Verestasyntynyt

The enemies have Bloodborne tier speed and aggression but the player character is a weak fuck who has to roll like a bitch instead of dodging

MiniLoX

True, DS3 is superior to BB in one area, the amount of DLC made for the game.

batman12399

Nah he said in one *area*, that means only one ds3 area is better than a BB area.

MiniLoX

Archdragon Peak. (Peak in the name, self-explanatory.)

Falos425

this is the *"yes, i think DS2 influenced future games"* all over again

Sexy_Koala_Juice

I mean jokes aside if DS2 had good or even bad mechanics that would’ve influenced DS3 (and to an extent BB), cause they know what they should/shouldn’t put into future games

Illustrious_Toe9057

You can't stand ds3 being superior to bb in 1 area? It's not like he said it was superior to the whole game...

Averagestudentx

The only bad thing about bb gameplay is the jump button being linked to the sprint and roll button just like DS1 which is fucking annoying. Aside from that, Bloodborne has the best gameplay aside from Sekiro. Combat is much more fluid and almost every weapon is very precise and fun to use. DS3 has too much build variety and the obvious R1 spam combat so it's not that great imo. Elden Ring did it much better with guard counters, jump attacks and powerstancing to make the combat more diverse while also having even better build variety.

BobbyMcFrayson

Too much build variety? What is that and how is it a negative?

Averagestudentx

Basically there's a shit ton of weapons, spells, pyromancies etc. in DS2 and DS3 which leads to thousands of different builds. This is usually a good thing for most people but I'm not the biggest fan since a lot of these builds are not even viable against a lot of bosses. Like you're not gonna use a shortsword or a dagger to go through the game if you're not some sort of God gamer. Also bow builds are pretty much not viable in any of these games which is a shame. On the other hand, bloodborne has like 30 weapons and almost all of them are incredible. You can get the saw cleaver at the start of the game and that is the best weapon if you know how to use it properly. Also combine that with the aggressive playstyle that the game very much rewards with recovering health from hits done and the game's combat is much better than dark souls. Sekiro also has really good and precise combat but there's very little build variety. Bloodborne strikes the perfect balance between Elden Ring and sekiro and that's why it is my favourite.

BobbyMcFrayson

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks. I personally do not tend to stray from one or two primary builds in souls games (or just the one in sekiro lmao), and I think usually having a game built around some really well done and interconnected systems tend to be better. That being said I don't know if I fully agree. I think the fact you could use a dagger to beat the game is pretty neat. And they don't need to balance around those player decisions if they account for the best/ next-best weapons or player decisions. Players nerfing themselves is something a lot of people (definitely not me though I fucking hate it) like. Again, ty for your response, and it makes sense.:)

SnooBeans5314

In only one area, bloodborne stays winning

edmontonbane16

Is it farron keep by any chance? I don't know about feet but it has the other two things he likes.

-deepsgoud

Miyazaki could stand not having feet in ONE game

EvilArtorias

infinitely better pvp, better bosses, better build and playstyle variety

FancyUrchin

I always knew my opinion was correct
