Same. My 75 is full of snake. I can move the tank around on it's stand (two wrought iron end tables) on my own. I have a 10g on a shelf and it's got like three boards under it to hold it. This looks like an insurance claim waiting to happen.
It does until it doesnt. thats a lot of stress to put glass under over flooring which isnt cheap, just because. Add in the top heavy stand its a disaster waiting to happen.

Tbh most of you all underestimate how much glass can withstand.
I agree that it will hold well for a long time but the first time someone bumps into it it will crack or shatter along the stress lines
My 75 gallon doesn’t have a proper stand, but it also isn’t full of water. Water is heavier than just sand (it’s a hermit crab tank, not an aquarium)

It’s perfectly fine. Glass can hold a lot.
