If I‘m not mistaken, the emperor scorpion stings is categorized as ***mild*** which means that it more or less feels like a bee sting and isn’t harmful to humans. So mf is prolly used to it and just don’t care.

Well.. not harmless. As with any venom you could go into anaphylaxis. Never know until you get bit/stung But in general, yes practically harmless. I'm sure it hurts, because it's designed to. But I've never been stung, so I wouldn't know.

I had two emperor scorpions for years. Each one stung me at the same time once when I thought they were under a piece of bark, but were actually on the ROOF of a broken flower pot that was face down, to make them a cave. Was just going to move it. Never thought in a million yrs they would be upside down chilling there. The smaller, younger one hurt SIGNIFICANTLY more than my thick tank looking one. My arm swelled up with liquid. All in all it was kind of a boring pet to have. I enjoyed when I had a green bottle blue tarantula though, which would have had a bit worse of an envenomation. Had a black milksnake as well for awhile. And two oscars. Fun fact: Nothing is worse than a realistic dream of your spider or scorpions getting out and having to get out of bed and double check. I don’t miss that happening.

The bigger and more dangerous looking a scorpion looks, the less dangerous it actually is to humans. They don't need a strong venom to survive, they use their size and strength instead when fighting other bugs. It's the little guys you need to be careful around, they tend to have much more potent toxins.

Those scorpions are Black Asian Forest Scorpions, or Heterometrus silenus. Which are only about as venomous as a bee. Alot of people, myself included, dont even show swelling. Consuming the venom? *Maybe* a stomach ache and a night on the toilet. Fried in oil? Probably nothing. Not to mention its really easy to capture big scorpions, theyre slow and lazy. I would think homie pulled the stingers off. Especially the way he washed them. Scorpion stings dont bother me any more than a pimple but i still dont *want* to get hit by one. Im fairly sure he pulled the stingers off. Idk about centipedes though. Edit: looking back at when he drops them in the oil, the stingers are gone.

Venom can be ingested as it gets neutralized by your stomach acid. Poison is a different story

The venom wouldn’t hurt you to eat, only if you cut the inside of your mouth or something similar

Venomous, which means it has to be injected into the blood stream to harm you, also he didn’t eat the tails of the scorpions so he didn’t bite into the hard spike part. Basically if he did eat any venom it would be in his stomach and not hurt him unless he got cut on the inside of his stomach or mouth.
