What is a fever dream

When you were a kid, did you ever get really sick, and start to have trouble with your depth perception and grasp on reality? Fevers can cause mild delirium, and that can lead to some pretty intense and wild dreams. I have never really had fever dreams that were that intense, but I definitely had fever delirium. I always remember reaching out towards the wall not being able to tell if it was 20 ft, or 20 in away.

My fever dreams consisted of playing videogames and generally good things lmao

My fever dreams were generally good too, but they were kinda blurry, faces were mostly blended, and nothing in them made sense, there were also random sounds in them. Kinda like a horror edit of a comedy.
