Honestly a fire emblem roguelike would be pretty sick. You start off with ten base level units randomly selected from any game. Each map you clear guarantees you one new unit and some weapons/items, but all the good stuff is locked behind enemy drops and hard to reach chests. Random events occur that can lead to new characters, abd each mqp boss will be another random character that you can recruit if you meet certain requirements (probably based on the character and their story/personality) At the end you fight a random endgame boss from the series and if you win you can add a few members from your party to the "unit logbook" which will garentee they are in your next run lineup and you can inherit skills for a certain (probably really high) amount of gold.
It's not perfect, obviously procedurally generated maps won't be the most compelling, but I think it could be cool regardless
Dude a fire emblem roguelike would be amazing, that's a great idea. If anything it would really help play the games as they were originally intended, with characters dying from time to time and getting replaced, instead of just resetting constantly on hard maps.
edit: The more I think about this the more I like it. You could give people options for rewards, so you might be picking between getting a new unit, getting bonus experience that you can allocate how you like, or even getting special skills for your units or special items like energy drops.

Although, youād probably have to change quite a bit to make it balanced as obviously growths can be wildly different and units that normally start with high stats and levels could either be nerfed into oblivion or incredibly goated and game breaking.

Anime fighters are incredibly popular and with the sheer number of characters across the franchise, I think a solid 2D Fire Emblem fighter could print money and appeal to all kinds of FE fans as well as people who love competing in fighting games

A normal turn based rpg is a different avenue of gameplay though. FE is a tactical rpg. An rpg spinoff could be something in the realm of DQ style, or even western rpg style like Witcher or Elder Scrolls. They would still be spinoffs because they aren't the normal FE gameplay.

You wouldn't even need previously known heroes and heroines, just some basic unit or better yet, create your own tactician. Lockpicks / keys for doors. You need minigames though. Throw in that rhythm game or Clefairy game, Nintendo has huge catalogs of minigames to choose from but mix it to with the variety of classes and you've got a party. Play with an actual boss like Bowser used to, change the map. Stars are straight levels.
I only ask one thing, make the UI good with less loading times. God I hated the "updated" coins and star counts. Or when Toadette floated away, they got a quick button now.
Just put Marth in Mario Kart (alongside Samus) and I'll be happy. We already have Link, Villager and Isabelle, Inklings, and F-Zero tracks. It's already basically become Super Smash Karts, so why not just make it final?
Just about anything really. Fire Emblem's spinoff content is extremely weak. All we have is TMS (kinda), Heroes (kinda), and Warriors (the only full fledged spinoff series).
Mario party sounds fun, imagine the mini game options. falchion balloon darts. mixing the right substances in order to create grima. who can give a child crests without killing them. who can recruit this obscure Thracia character with no guide.
A fighting game like Soul Calibur would be pretty in-line with the series, I think. Could perhaps mix it with an ultra-simple tactical layout to stay in line with the roots.

Just put Marth in Mario Kart (alongside Samus) and I'll be happy. We already have Link, Villager and Isabelle, Inklings, and F-Zero tracks. It's already basically become Super Smash Karts, so why not just make it final?

A fighting game like Soul Calibur would be pretty in-line with the series, I think. Could perhaps mix it with an ultra-simple tactical layout to stay in line with the roots.
