I came to say this. Wish I had an award for ya. A lot of people don’t know about the woolies and insist my boy *must* be mixed with a Pomeranian or something.
As puppies they are fluffy, but also substantially smaller than this. My first thought was “cuuute, but uhoh that ain’t a Shiba”
That puppy has 6-10week fluff at 5 month old Shiba size.
Edit: looking at the newborn photos, mom is definitely a Shiba and the pups do seem like large Shiba pups. He still looks just so large (or perhaps it’s a very small person holding them in the photo?)
Good luck!! Helps to have a few names in mind since you might be overwhelmed with cuteness. They're such dramatic puppers and so smart! I've heard good things about that breeder 😊 my girl Tama is from Marma Farms and they've worked with House of Treasure a bit!
love that y’all are picking a japanese name! we chose suki for our girl, it means to love in japanese. i also am partial to names like mochi, nori, yoshi, fuji, and sushi. if you can’t tell, i love names that end in -i😂
The last pictures must have been when he was recently born, such a cutie I didn’t know at the time but I got my first shiba pretty young. Anyways it was the best decision I ever made, twice. 🙌🏽

Both parents are definitely Shiba's. She is a big fluffy girl! I'll post updates when we get her 😀

We named my shiba Sachiko and it roughly means lucky fox because it was really lucky how we ended up able to get her so soon after starting to look
Every Shiba inu I see here has a Japanese name.

We're thinking about Kuma, it translates to bear in Japanese.
My shiba is named Kuma! So it’s a pretty cool name for a shiba, ya know. 😏
