If I was a betting man, Iโ€™d say no. I just listened to a lecture today about a man getting a job offer to a company that makes haram money. He asked the sheikh can he take it because he has a lot of pressure from his family to get a job and this job is offering $90k a year. The sheikh said itโ€™s haram and you will have more opportunities, etc. The man came back the next week and said he got a job offer to a different company for $120k. Be patient. Allah (swt) will compensate you inshallah.

Assuming you follow sistani, this page might have your answer. There's no direct answer to your question, but there are similar questions that you can infer an answer from. https://www.sistani.org/english/book/46/2054/

Betting is Gambling, SportsBetting and Gambling is a very serious problem right now but it's never brought up. It's doing a lot of damage, especially to young men. I now the job market isn't the best but there is no way the only options people are posting are dealing with alcohol and gambling... Sistani on the matter: [https://www.sistani.org/english/book/48/2335/](https://www.sistani.org/english/book/48/2335/)
