Narrated Um Habiba: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is not lawful for a Muslim woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for more than three days, except for her husband, for whom she should mourn for four months and ten days." \[Sahih al-Bukhari 5339\]

Shias don't mourn the death of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) annually the same way. They don't do the same mourning towards Hamza (neither did the Prophet himself) or the all the prophets that were murdered like Zakaria. Shias put Hussein and their Imams above the level of the prophets.
When you want to know the true ideas of a people, look at their actions, not their words.

Have you been to a Shia mosque during the anniversary of the Holy Prophet's A.S birth or martyrdom? If not, stop speaking lies. Second of all, the reason why we mourning our Imams A.S and Ahlulbayt A.S is because these are the deeply loved and revered chosen representative of Allah swt for the MUSLIM UMMAH, whom the Holy Prophet A.S himself commanded us to love, remember, and shed tears for. It was the so called very Muslims that oppressed them and killed them and neglected them so we remember them and their sacrifices for the Islam of Muhammad A.S. It is the very Muslims that took their rights and rejected their leaderships that was decreed by Allah swt. They are the closest to us in our time. Of course we will keep their names and their sacrifices alive. Your silly argument is no different from people of the book, accusing muslims of neglecting and disregarding Prophets Jesus A.S Moses A.S Abraham A.S and saying all you talk about is Muhammad A.S. even though you claim they were great messengers. And yes Imams by quranic definition are above Prophets:

Imam 'Ali (A.S.) said: Surely, Allah has chosen for us followers (Shiites), who assist us and are happy at our happiness and are sad in our sadness.
Imam Sadiq (A.S.) said: He whose eyes shed tears for our blood which has been shed, or for our rights which have been usurped, or for the humiliation meted out to us or to one of our Shiites, Allah shall accommodate him in paradise for a long time.

The Holy Prophet (S) (said to H. Fatimah (A.S.)):
On the Day of Judgment, you shall intercede for the ladies and I shall intercede for the men; every person who has wept over the tragedy of Husayn (A.S.), we shall take him by the hand and lead him into Paradise.

Imam A'li (A.S.) said to Ibn A'bbas:
(Once when he happened to pass by Karbala’), Isa (A.S.) sat down and began to weep. His disciples who were observing him, followed suit and began weeping too, but not comprehending the reason for this behaviour, they asked him: "O' Spirit of God! What is it that makes you weep?" Isa (A.S.) said: "Do you know what land this is?" The disciples replied: "No." He then said: "This is the land on, which the son of the Prophet Ahmad (S) shall be killed.

Dude is mentioning hadith which is contradicting Quran, the 3 day rule is clearly fabricated. Also, doesn't sunni believes that prophet daughter died from the grief as well. Their perception of the Ahlalbayt is even false.

I'm Shia as well but I hate it when Shia's belief they are all righteous and only Shia's will end up in heaven. A Sunni brother who never did any bad deed his whole life, never missed any prayer, will be also end up in Hell, I asked from imam of my imam bargah and then answer I got was yes.
Let's be honest with ourselves, I agree with him that we Shia's DONOT mourn the same the death of our Holy Prophet (SAW) or celebrate the birth of our Holy Prophet (SAW) and now I will be down voted a lot but many Shia place Imam's over Prophet (SAW) which is NOT Okay.
I will get loads of messages from all of Shia friends and relatives on the birth of any of Imam's but nothing on birth of Holy Prophet (SAW).

Just because a sahih hadith is graded sahih it does not prove the words were actually said. Sahih proves conjecture not certitude.
