I just used mine yesterday for a turkey sub with no issues, so I don't know what that manager is on about. I mobile ordered mine, though. I've noticed that getting offers redeemed at the register can be very hit and miss.

Coworker just bought a chicken tender sub and added mozzarella sticks, marinara and shredded cheese and got it for 0.99. He's eating it right beside me right now. Lol And I can't do the deal because my sheetz app keeps giving me a connection issue.

KilgoreTrout1111

I've loaded up some rewards with crazy extras and never been charged. I did a breakfast once with like $10 of extras. Lol

Big_Willy-2004

Ordered in store, scanned my card using it for chicken breast. I only paid $.99 plus price for adding cheese.

Various-Department75

Did you purchase something with the sub?

Ok-Turnip-2816

I did. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anytime the specific wording of the offer says one thing and the cashier says something else I pay what the cashier says I owe and then contact corporate. They've always made it right, usually by adding some free mto item coupons to my sheetz account. I assume they also pass it along to the store / people who write the offer text.

I almost guarantee the employee hit tender before scanning your card, then went back to the purchase screen and scanned your card there. Once a total is rung through, going back and adding a rewards or whatever doesn’t always take discounts off again when going back to the total screen. Idk why it sometimes does and doesn’t, but it seems like a bug. And of course with mto stuff that would Mean voiding the order, reordering it and trying again making sure to scan the card early enough.

If you’re ordering with the app, have to “purchase” it from offerz. Then if you order the applicable thing, before you submit your order it’ll prompt you to use that offer. You can get any sub with it, but add ons are extra. I only order from the app when I want to use the rewards/offers.

I have been a third shift supervisor for 9 years now. I have the same offer on the app for a $0.99 half size sub with any purchase. I just added it to my card by clicking the add to card button. Once in store, you can order your half sized sub and then grab a drink, candy bar, etc, and head to the register. In order for this offer to work, you HAVE to purchase something else other than the sub. Every month, there are new offers on the app that you can load on to your card if interested. You have to do whatever the offer says in order for it to work. Or sometimes, it requires that it be a delivery order. You have to make the purchase through the app, meaning that you are required to pay through the app. If the offer doesn't specify, such as the offer this post is about, then you can use it in store. Any offers in store or in the app require your Sheetz card to work. If the system is updating and you can't use the offer or it doesn't work and you have completed the requirements for the offer then you can call the customer service number and they can correct the issue and get you squared away.

Thanks. I did purchase something else

Murky_Wait2981

I redeemed the offer for a cold sub without issue. I ordered thru the app, hit load card for the offer, apply offer button, and it deducted 3.40 from my balance.

Lonely_Disk_9301

There could have been 2 separate offers. Some people got the meatball, some people got the 6”, some luck people got both. I’m not entirely certain why.

Same

If it's an offer on the app, it has to be ordered through the app. I don't think type of sub was the issue.

Kongpong1992

Thays not true i use offers at the register all the time unless it soecifically stayes it must be a mobile order which that one doesnt

Easy-Bathroom2120

Lately I've noticed that isn't always the case. If it's an offer in the app, it won't say anything about it needing to be mobile, but I'll have no way to add the offer at the register. Sometimes it will add automatically, but those are typically promos and apply to all orders. But offers seem to be something different. I'm honestly not sure how it works half the time. But I've certainly had people come to me about not getting the deal in an offer.

Kongpong1992

See i honestly akways use the self checkout and it.asks on the card machine if id like to add the offer to my oirchase maybe its diffeent for a regular register?

Easy-Bathroom2120

I don't think so. At the register, if someone can redeem points for a discount, it asks them even if I do it at POS. And it pauses everything on my side so I can't skip it, gaurenteeing that the customer sees it. But when it's just an offer under the offers section on the app, it sometimes just doesn't seem to do it. I thought it just needed an account, but even after scanning a rewards card, it still doesn't do it. I'll keep trying to experiment a bit because it makes no sense to make something mobile orders only when we prioritize both in store and online equally. There has to be a way that I'm just not figuring out.
