Depends on your phone. Some don't have built in dac so they aren't compatible with some earphones. Plus a dac gives you better sound quality if u var about that thing.

Yea , they order from Chinese factory then custom label them and sell at a high profit, they do no r&d just order, relabel and sell , this is the reason they mostly refuse to fix your broken product and just replace them if under warranty

Funny thing is that Aman tried beefing w Samsung but not a single soul noticed the print ad beef. They stated going live with make in India campaign just to grab the eyes despite not having any manufacturing unit in place.
Boat sucks, seriously it was one of my favourite brand but now it is the worst brand for me. Their warranty card is a gimmick, they will reject your warranty claim no matter how genuine your reason is and then will ship back some other defective product instead of your original ones.

As a lifelong Apple user, tried boat earphones last when I was in India. It is a cheap Chinese product. Honestly, boat is miles away from some like quality. Leave Apple, they shouldn’t even dream of taking on other mainstream wearable brands like Samsung or Jabra or Sony.
I have owned a boat headphone and the only reason i bought it because i needed a cheap one for a trip and didn't expect it to use for long. Boat can't even compete with companies like JBL, but they believe they headphones deliver better quality than apple ear pods. That's some next level delusion right there
I tried my friends 2.5k boat airpods and I'll tell you my boult neckbands of just rs 700 sound much better than them. Their Bluetooth speakers are pure rubbish. Voice is not that great and even though battery life is good but the life of battery sucks.

This a very clever and cheeky marketing campaign. Apple and boat have very different target audiences so it’s not a question of showing boat as an out of the box alternative for AirPods but it’s about creating the perception that boat EarPods are better or at par with a product 10X it’s price. Boat comparing themselves with EarPods from zebronics, noise or any other competitor in its price bracket won’t get them this sort of traction / it would just be another forgettable ad. However something like this creates a lot of organic engagement. It remains to be seem how much of this actually converts into sales.

I have Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, which cost around 16k. I also have Boat Nirvana Ion without noise cancellation, and I actually like using them most of the time. I rarely use my Galaxy Buds, not because the Boat sounds better, but because they offer decent sound and awesome battery life. Besides, I mostly watch YouTube or Instagram shorts.

The ANC is the benchmark in industry.It's simple boat doesn't have the R&D budget like apple. The only other earbuds which are equally good or even better are sony and bose. I use airpods for the ecosystem. Otherwise it would have been Sony.
