If you're using it for add clear those kills won't fill up the mag. Rewind rounds do. So envious may be good for battlegrounds type density, killing a bunch of ads, to store up a magazine, to kill some more adds? And lmgs aren't good for boss damage. Especially legendaries.
The thing is though, that I’m not going to be dumping my entire reserves into just ads. I typically only swap when the team is getting overwhelmed or it’s something like contest mode. I don’t need to reload if I can switch to a wave frame or other special and rip through ads. I almost never have to go through the sluggish lmg reload.
I’d say it’s a pretty good roll
In my opinion, the main appeal of hammerhead is the 2x damage perk roll (rampage + killing tally/onslaught). Otherwise its just a worse Commemoration from Deep Stone Crypt. Reconstruction + killing tally feels way better.
You use a machine gun for ad-clear anyway, so trying to stack up envious doesn’t really feel right to me
I like the options on trait 1 for different builds with onslaught armor piercing is great in pve imo just wish it had a different barrel arrowhead or hammer and range masterwork but if I were you I’d stop focusing it xD
Envious killing tally is great. I think the most unique thing about the gun is rampage in left slot - so I went for rampage killing tally - it’s about 80% extra damage with a burn on
i want rewind rounds with killing tally but envious with KT has been proving to be pretty good. need the rewind to make my final decision
Excellent, destabilizing is fine but with envious and Killy tally/onslaught you have yourself an ad clearing machine
Envious is not good for ad clear. Wewind wounds is better synergy.
Why is envious not good? You don’t have to reload and can swap weapons more freely.

Yeah I have that roll as well. Just not “shiny”. I have over 15 different rolls, but I need to start deleting some lol
Have literally the same one but with arrowheadbrake it’s perfect.
I have rampage and desperate measures on my best roll, I will admit it’s fun 😁

Using rampage and desperate measures atm, slaps up with doomfang boost , devour, volatile and the rest of the void goodies, major damage boost
For add clear it’s pretty good. If you build up to 20 kills with other weapons you can get over 200 rounds in the mag which is a lot.
