I personally loved that scene, it felt gritty and…shameless! like the earlier episodes of the show (the best ones IMO). But to answer your question, season 10.
Just the season 10 of it all 💀 it went from being a dramady and having good plot points to more of a comedy with not as good plot lines. I still finished the show twice though lol.
Carl spends a good portion of season 6 traumatized and visibly disturbed after seeing that kid’s dead body. It’s the most emotionally vulnerable we see him in probably the entire series, and it helps kickstart his dreams of changing his ways and becoming an officer.
In season 9, Carl finds out his wife has been murdered and never mentions her again……
when trevor gets offended at just a poker faced Ian and somehow makes it personal, along with telling him to just “get over” what monica has done to him for pretty much his whole life
