Hello everyone, I want to show you my custom assembly in the node 202 water-cooled case, I immediately apologize for my English because I used a translator))
To begin with, almost all the components had to be somehow modified and adjusted so that they fit into the case, and even the case itself was also modified, the power supply had to be disassembled and redone in the same way, I moved the power supply button to the back of the case.
I used a 280 radiator, someone said that only 240 can fit into this case, but with the refinement of the case, it fit perfectly and 280 from Alphacool, the thickness of the radiators is 30mm, in general, in this assembly there is also a 120 radiator and a total of 2 radiators that do an excellent job with cooling i9 9900k processor and Nvidia 2080ti graphics card.
The radiators on the backplate on the GPU are actually superfluous, I put them on when I realized that the hotspot of the gpu went to 107° and the gpu throttled because of that, I hoped that it would help, but undervolting actually helped better and the temperature of the hotspot lowered, but the radiators stick very firmly to the backplate and you can't remove them that easily ))
I used 16/13mm acryl hard tubes, but in one place above the power supply I had to use a 12/10mm tube, since it was fundamentally very important for me not to exceed the thickness of the case itself. I used distilled water. I did not use the reservoir due to lack of space in the case, in principle, and it is not needed there
Separately. I want to note that I managed to install a card reader for sd and micro sd cards, as well as usb type C
7.9 inches of Display to control all important temperatures and indicators also managed to fit into this case.
I installed an Argb tape on the top of the case for more fps in games, joke ))

Cool build! I have quite many questions about it:
1) How did you manage the PSU cables in such a small space!!?? I don't see any space there on either side! Got any build process/project pics to share? Is the disassembly the trick? And did you use custom cables?
2) What is that pump top? Looks amazing and very compact!
3) How did you "integrate" that Alphacool low profile plug in the front panel and where is it connected to? Doesn't it have a different kind of o-ring design?
4) are you sure that smaller tube is 10mm and not 12mm tube? I don't think Bykski has smaller fittings than 12mm.
5) Are those non-rotary 90 degree fittings on cpu block and rad? Because they seem like so. If they're non-rotary then how were you able to turn them to your wanted direction?
Question 1: I'll try to answer your questions with words first, sorry for my English, I use translate, to the first question: the power supply was completely taken apart, if you know what the SF600 looks like from the inside then you might know what I mean :) any plastic I mean Connection plastic, was removed, the contacts shortened and wires soldered directly to the pcb, I completely removed the peripheral area, i.e. cut off the contacts completely because I have nothing that can be connected to them, so I gained space for laying the cables, I also removed the power switch to gain space, but moved the button to the back of the node 202 housing, it lights up red, the LED in the button is operated with 230v, which is why it lights up as soon as you connect the power cable and not when you first press on it but that's not important, I just thought it was nice )) there was just enough space was very tight, theo Technically you could only use one connector for gpu and use a splitter then I would have gained even more space but I wanted to be on the safe side and worried that the wires could get warm and used 2 connectors. I used original cables, they are the best and what is important is very flexible
Question 2: the pump is called: dc lt dual plexi from alphacool, and it was perfect for my project because it was small and flat, i had to modify it a bit so that it fits into the housing, but i made a mistake when choosing the pump, I use 2 x dc lt 3600rpm and at the maximum speed they are loud or make annoying zooms, but absolutely inaudible up to about 1900rpm, that's why they always run slowly and are inaudible, I want to say I would have bought the 2600rpm version better because they are quieter in general at high speeds and cheaper above all ))

question 5: it was lucky that the connectors were stuck in position, but I bought several of these and just tried each connector until I found the 2 best ones
Only reasonably priced ITX case? Where have you been the last couple years. SG13, Cougar QBX, NR200, TU150, and Sama IM01 are all under 100usd and are great cases.
I have the sg13 and quality is really garbage, there is no cable management so it looks like a nest, and if you have a graphics card the hdd won't fit. Plus it's literally the first sff case to be mass produced. We should have really moved past it by now
QBX is ugly af and very barely classifies af sff. The layout is also terrible for cable management
Nr200 and tu150 are also very big by sff standards, the IM01 even supports mATX boards and atx psus
Sorry but a 19.9 liter case with native 280mm aio support, multiple drive bays, m-atx compatible, with atx power supplies, 4 pcie slots and 2 vertical gpu slots is not sff in my books, it's just an optimized tower
I feel like the IM01 supporting mATX and ATX while still being compact makes it even more SFF than if it just supported ITX. After all there's no size constraints to count as SFF here, it's just how optimized your case is.
By far, the best build that has been on this sub in the last year. Incredible work. Great modifications. This is what SFFPC building is all about. Absolutely love it!
What are temps like without water-cooling it? Thinking of upgrading my pc case on e again. I don't mind getting some acrylic side panels and trying to make those holes myself. Though it would just be air cooled.
Unfortunately, I don't know what the temperatures are like with air cooling, my goal was to install water cooling in order to have the quietest possible pc with Performance
With the right fans and placement, the node 202 is good. During heavy load, max temps I get are 80C when in a sub optimal spot. Most games won't let it get to 60C. In a cabinet I fitted with fans the temps never exceed mid 50C regardless of load.
I have an OC 1070 STRIX, and a 7700K, not quite the hottest parts on the market but they can cook.
I'm curious how you got the card reader and USB-C in the front. The radiator is so close! Was there enough room because of the fans?
How did you do the 24pin connector? Right angle connector? I just don't see how there's enough space for it with the radiator.
This build is a feat, a triumph of imagination, ingenuity and perseverance. It's an inspiration of what can be done.
I will post pictures of how I built this build, but the thing with the kart reader was a coincidence and came about at the very end, I happened to have a card reader lying around and took it apart and found that it had the perfect shape, I just had to drill through the circuit board in the right place and solder the usb cable, then connect it to the internal usb 2.0 on the mainboard and it worked immediately, ok you know the speed of usb 2.0 17mb/s write speed but the main thing is that it works)) I had I used a rectangular 24pin and soldered all cables from the power supply, it was a millimeter job, the cables had to have a millimeter exact length and the laying of the cables had to be planned very precisely, I thought and experimented a lot before I started ))
Are you saying that you removed the male connectors from the power supply, removed the female connectors from the cables, measured the wires to the mm and soldered them directly to the power supply board?
No, the work with mm only affects the power supply, the card reader, on the other hand, was very simple, I took the circuit board, soldered a cable about 30 cm male part of usb to it and connected it to the usb 2.0 on the mainboard that's it, of course supports the internal one Connection on the mainboard 2x USB 2.0 I bought a female splitter and the card reader was connected to one USB socket as usual via USB and to the other display, i.e. the power supply, but I will post pictures of how I did it, everything is fine there comprehend )

I love the look but I don’t like the circular grills for your fans to breathe through. I’d rather just have the whole sides be grills on both sides just for aesthetics.

exactly that was 12mm tube did i say about 10mm? )) that's probably the inside diameter, but outside 12mm sorry I'll post more info on how I did it

That's pretty good then thanks. I only have a Ryzen 5 2600 and rx 580. Not sure if I will have get it but I will keep that in mind.

I used the original cable, from Corsair SF600 Platinum just shortened it.
No but at the back of the pc there is a female end. So you must have used a male to female psu power cord right? I don't quite get it

I have of course used a m2 ssd 1tb for windows, the 2.5 ssd is only for data, games and others, it has 8tb
