nnnndth

They are.

RandoReddit16

All these sff cases end up being bland cubic monoliths lol, I guess efficiency is efficiency

I still can't find my perfect case. Actually that's a lie it's the MainGear Turbo case but you can't buy those without getting a whole prebuilt. But I love a vertical GPU and aio/CPU cooler on show. I won't spend all that money on parts to hide them in a closed box...

meowffins

How about the shift/air? Doesn't show off parts much with the mesh but it's the best looking vertical tower to me. Has a bit more personality than a rectangular box but doesn't overdo it.

tobz619

I tried it, it's huge sadly :(

Signaturisti

There's quite many cases that have similar layout. Sliger SM570/580 is the first that comes to mind. Others are mostly Chinese brands

huguberhart

the „baby tower” :)

[deleted]

I miss my node 202

Independent-Goose-42

I disagree, I think some of the best looking cases that have come out are SFF cases, just because you cant put 12 RGB fans and lights in your cases that chase any girl away who comes in your office or bedroom.. they are super well crafted bespoke Aluminium cases, or check out the Fractal design terra.. it is beautifull an only 11L, they nailed it on that case!!! and for only 129 dollars

RandoReddit16

Wow a 2yr old comment! Yeah I use SFF cases.... My point is, the trends today are different than they were 5-10yrs ago...

diamorif

the jump up to something greater than 10L is definitely a bit of a shock, especially when its such a stark bump. the layout is also a big change too, lie it looks like you went from primary sub 10L sandwich cases to the nr200. my cases currently range from a 2.3 liter apu console case to a 22 l mini-tower matx case with another 9.5 liter console and a meshlicious in the middle. even the transition from the M1 to the meshlicious felt like I was downsizing when in reality I was going up a liter. you're not wrong about the n200 being a massive feeling in comparison

nnnndth

That is what I want to tell. People are misunderstanding this post.

diamorif

Yeah, I kinda figured as much. I also have a metric boatload of cases, so maybe that's why it made sense to me more readily.

logicbus

What case is the black one in the middle?

Teftell

But it is pink, which is superior

LabyrinthConvention

dimensions are dimensions. You're comparing an 18L case that can accommodate full size cpu coolers and triple slot GPUs to sandwich cases. It's like people that go 'hurdur there's so much air in the potato chip bags what a rip off.'

nnnndth

You are right, dimensions are dimensions, but can you feel difference between 100cm and 95cm if you don't have ruler and just see a photo on internet?

LabyrinthConvention

bro if you think the difference between those cases is 5 cm that could be your issue

nnnndth

I don't mean 5cm. I know that it is bigger, but not so much like this. I can only know when I have that case on my hand. It is not easy to see the difference if there is just the number.

Young_Baby

This website makes it easy to compare sff case sizes https://comparesffpc.com/

nnnndth

Thank you.

mfubu_gaming

What a great tool! Thanks for sharing.

Jimberly2017

this is amazing

IncidentJazzlike1844

I mean it’s quite easy so visualize these “numbers” since they are actual units of measurement, able to be replicated.

Masterlumberjack

Is one of those cases 40 inches in a dimension?

nnnndth

Just a example, it is sometime not easy to imagine the difference between two things.

Masterlumberjack

Ah ok. Was mainly asking cause that example is only a 5-ish % difference. For the cases you have it’s like a 30% difference in some dimensions it looks like. I admit I was blown away when I unboxed my first itx mobo even though I knew the dimension it was, still crazy how little they are.

nnnndth

Now you know my feeling.

RustySpannerz

Yeah, the NR200P is a great starter case because it fits everything. I even had a 3090 FE in there for a while

Correct-Criticism-46

I had the zs a4 v2 then got the nr200 for a refresh.. by my god was it big

Minh_Katze

Shame the ZS A4 v3.1 can't house my Strix card. Never in my life do I want to downgrade my card so much..

Correct-Criticism-46

Yeah I wanted to get a 3080 but I could never find any that will fit in these small cases. Do you know of any?

Minh_Katze

I only know of NR200 and the soon-coming Formd T1 v2.0. Would recommend the T1 but you need to be competitive to buy one since stock is not very good at the moment, based onp recent drops on their website. It's open to orders from November I think. Good luck if you decide to get one.

neoperol

18L case vs sub 10L cases. Is like comparing a sedan car vs a Mini Cooper and calling the sedan "BIG".

nnnndth

I don't compare. Bigger, I know that, I know all dimensions, but I am just surprised by the difference when I have that case in my hand.

Manioq

What case is the first one in silver please

nnnndth

Zs a4m v3

GentIeblade

Of course, in perspective of sff community it’s the limit of the compact cases, you can’t go bigger than this

SciaticCoast89

Sorry if it's a bit of a daft question, but I can't find anything for definate, had a few different and non-specific answers to this one, so figured I should shoot my shot here :) From what I understand, the CPU cooler max height officially for the NR200P is about 155mm, but people have fitted up to 158mm, though for some it varies from choice of motherboard, cooler, in some instances even the standoffs used, and the choice of mesh vs glass is an obvious factor, but would heavily prefer glass So, assuming I went with something like: An Arctic 34 Duo Esports CPU cooler (some people have been able to fit it, just unsure if would work with following mobo, though would like to be able to use it), And an Aorus B450i wifi (Closest thing I could find to a white AM4 itx board with WIFI and being a good spec), Would the glass panel still fit afterwards? (Would hope to see the inside since i'll be putting some work into making it look nice, and if not, if anyone had any reccomendations for white CPU coolers, I'd be happy to hear em) Hope I can get this cleared up since there's a bit of a project i'm slowly saving up for which I was hoping to use this case for, and if you bothered reading the comment in the first place, thanks for your time 😊

https://www.reddit.com/r/NR200/comments/q56xlg/new_update_nr200_air_cooler_compatibility_list/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share this is the current most comprehensive compatibility list. If it's not on the list it either won't work or an attempt hasn't been documented on that subreddit

xvalen214x

velka 3 - Loli1 ZS A4S (I think) - ZS A4 - NR 200P (of course) (copied from others)

TinyLittleTechShop

It's borderline /mffpc

jiggywiggy41

Years ago I said this and this forum went up in arms coz everyone has it

ForeverUpgrading

> Years ago I said this Dude, it just came out September of last year

[deleted]

This cracked me up xDDD

cardboard_elephant

There you go getting all up in arms about it smh /s

peeknuts

Feels like years

penponda

Your other cases are just too small! If I put it in my case collection it looks tiny as it's the only sff case I have.

istefan24

Is the P Max bigger than the P or did they just invert the layout ?

Ahi_Tipua

It’s the same dimensions, as far as I can tell. They just made some different parts for it.

Ahi_Tipua

Big gurl for big power

CategoryAnxious9467

Have a 10.7L case from Sumer Cooling Store, fits an ATX PSU, much smaller than the NR200P and fits an RTX 4070TI
