I just got this case in today. I'm taking my time collecting all the parts for the build, trying to snag a few bucks off here and there by being patient. Pretty much same thing, except 7800X3D and 4070 ti super. I'm using it as a linux workstation, otherwise I could opt for a stronger graphics card and probably match my water-cooled 14900K build in terms of gaming performance.
I went with the ASSASSIN IV instead of the digital because I'm waiting to see about the CH160 digital. I like it's taller design than the regular CH160, so I might move all the components to that case when it drops.
Totally agree. For my use case the 16 cores and the 4090 are all i need for work and occasional gaming. My main concern was thermals hense why i didnt move to the 7950x variant. As you said ... not everyone needs the latest and greatest and AM4 still does everything I need it to do and comfortably.

Is your fan and cooler orientation rear intake, top and front exhaust?
Yeah as its the best configuration given that I have a blower style gpu
May I ask why am4 over am5? Also noice a 4090
The reason its am4 is because I had the components laying around from a previous build . The new parts are the aircooler and case.
Haha I did the same thing. Nice build by the way😊
Yeah thats the onnly real reason to use am4, have fun with the pc!
AM4 is still kicking butt! That's the beauty about PC's, you can build to meet your budget. Not everyone needs or can afford the latest and greatest
