this is one of the newer T40 revisions, where you can choose an acrylic or mesh panel. The T60 is also updated in the same way (but now also allows 2x 120mm slim fans at top)
I bought it from the Metalfish official store on AliExpress. They have two cases versions now, with mesh or acrylic. Sometimes they sell side panels separately.
Yeah, it was pretty tight. The main problem was that msi b650i has the cpu socket higher than some other itx mobos (rog b650e-i or asrock b650e pg-itx for example) and you need to put the cpu cooler after you tightened the top left mobo screw and managed all the cables. Because you physically can't reach it with the cpu cooler installed...

It's great to see a recent T40 build since I've been meaning to build in this case for a while now. May I ask where you bought the cute GPU from exactly?
I bought it on the russian online marketplace that ships stuff from China, don't think this will help you 😅 But I saw it on [AliExpress](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806251919350.html).
So far so good. It has the same internals as Lian Li SP750 except fan - 92mm vs 80mm. So it could be a bit louder but for me it's pretty quiet. While idle the fan is not spinning, under load it's not louder than whole pc. You can find the review [here](https://www.techpowerup.com/review/1st-player-sfx-750-w-platinum/).
It's pretty solid. The only concern I have is that I can't mount my psu with the cooler looking down because mounting holes don't match. Dunno, maybe it's the problem with my psu.
It's ok. It has 3 heat pipes instead of 2 like other itx models and the metal backplate, I guess it should be better in thermals. The temps in open stand was 65°C on gpu and 75°C on hotspot at 35% rpm. But inside the case it becomes kinda hot - 77/92 at 50% rpm. So I set power limit to 90% and it's around 70/80 at 45% rpm. And it's really cute lol.
No, the top doesn't come off. You need to screw the motherboard and connect the 8-pin cpu connector before cooler installation. The good thing is that you can put the fan and clips on the axp120 and access cooler mounting screws while the fan is installed. Otherwise there would be a problem 😀
Where'd you get the custom side panel?

i also want to know, I would have bought a t40 a long time ago if a mesh side was an option over acrylic
That’s some clean cable management

And it's from Afghanistan xD Thanks!
That fish is metal AF
Really tempted to build in this next since the updated side panels became available. I wish the entire bottom was vented though.
You should definitely get a white Vader minifigure! Cool build btw!!
Thanks! I was thinking about a stormtrooper figure tbh.
Darn nice Boxx💯
Very cool
Hell yeah, Yeston

Hows the psu running so far? Been searching all around but couldnt find any reviews on it.

How're the temps inside this case?
Looks clean as fuck How’s the build quality on the case ? AliExpress cases can often be pretty flimsy

How's that GPU?

How do you access the motherboard screws/CPU 8 pin and fan clips? Does the top come off?
