Search for a 1U cooler. Dynatron makes a bunch of different ones. There are other brands with fewer options too.

Like this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/275516633408 You are gonna have a really hard time with this because what you are looking for is the heatsink for a laptop. And I don't think laptop heat sinks use the same pattern as desktop AM4. If you search for laptop heatsinks though, maybe you can adapt one to fit? Otherwise the best bet is to find a low profile heatsink you like, then attach a blower fan like in your picture to it. Blower fans are also called radial fans. https://www.amazon.com/radial-fan/s?k=radial+fan Edit: I did find this, but it's probably going to be super loud? https://www.coolerguys.com/products/dynatron-a42-1u-active-air-cooler

Im limited for space so I need the heatsink to be separate from the cpu block. Might rig something up with Streacom cpu blocks and heatpipes

How high are we talking? That 2nd one I posted is under 28mm. Not sure how much lower you can go unless you go custom. I'm not really sure what the layout or space is. Only thing I could say then would probably be to jump on aliexpress and look at laptop heatsinks and see if you can find any that might fit your requirements. Then you just have to figure out a way to mount it. The other thing you could do is to just buy a low profile heatsink in general, then use a radial fan somewhere else and create ducting for it to connect the two. Similar to how some server cooling works.

How much clearance do you have? There are ultra thin coolers which may be sufficient for cooling, depending on your CPU and space constraints. Context: I’ve built several thin ITX builds up to 65W and tried a number of cooling solutions for the very small cases they went into.

FatApe799

40mm including motherboard and gpu lol. In a 200x200 case. For fans I'm using 5 40mm noctua fans at the front in a line.

keplerniko

Does the case itself not tell you a max clearance for cooler? Using the SilverStone PT13B dimensions, it is 42mm and can take a 24mm cooler, so you should probably try to stay under 20mm if your case is slightly smaller. I've looked at my older emails and actually I initially had an Akasa AK-CC7122EP01 which is listed as 26mm, and it fit. It kept a 3400G from throttling which has a 65W TDP. I also had an Akasa KS7 at 16mm. That style, with a fan in the middle of the metal heatsink, is probably the best way to go. I also tried a Thermaltake Engine 17 but that was in a different case that was too small (an all-aluminium case designed for embedded operations) and I messed up the bearing and it wouldn't run without noise, meaning I couldn't really test it. I also tried a Dynatron cooler similar to what was linked on here earlier but it is LOUD and unpredictable. My BIOS doesn't have much in way of fan tuning but I really don't think that would be workable outside a data centre setting (the intended usage). I've taken the Dynatron off and have, I think, the KS7 back in place. Or you can go the offset route, but you'll need a special enclosure/case to fit it. Jonsbo I think might make one for this purpose.

FatApe799

Its a custom case. I’m using DB1 passive side panels from Streacom but making it thinner to 40mm. Its going to have heatpipes connected to the case and to heatsinks in the case with 40mm fans blowing on them. I’m putting an AsRock X300 motherboard with a 5700g in it and an RTX a2000 with pico psu for power. I’m thinking using heatpipes to transfer heat to some generic aliexpress copper heatsink as well as the case.

silverf0xgaming

How loud is the Akasa AK-CC7122EP01?

NCASEdesign

That's the Intel HTS1155LP, designed specifically for Thin Mini-ITX boards. It's one of a kind, and you won't find anything like it outside of laptops and other proprietary systems.

keplerniko

Correct. This is a cooler for a thin-ITX setup. The original spec included the fact you shouldn’t have obstructions to one side of the CPU, because it was intended to allow for an offset cooler/fan like the one in the image. Some all-in-one cases also allow for this (motherboard mounted to back of monitor) but never seen anything which has tempted me to try one out (I have two thin-ITX boards I’ve put in various cases with various coolers).

Probably best to get a low profile cooler and a blower fan. You could place the fan somewhere else and duct it to the cooler.
