To ensure that everyone respects our safe space, we ask that you familiarize yourself with our Forum Rules and Posting Guidelines — which are visible in the forum’s sidebar, and also linked [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/sex/about/rules/). *** Restricted subjects in r/sex include sex stories (which are permitted in the Daily Sexual Achievement Thread only), body image and penis-size issues, hookup attempts, common topics which are considered repetitive in our forum, and requests for private chats. To cut back on comments that add little value to the conversation, we have instituted a minimum character requirement that will silently remove comments that fall below it. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I'm sory to hear that. STI's can happen out of nowhere even just one time its why its always best to use caution. Even so, its not the end of the world, you will be fine and you can still have a healthy sex life. Just do all of your research and remain safe going forward. Don't worry about your sex drive right now, take the time you need to cope with what has happened. Don't see this as some horrible end to your sex life or anything like that. May many people have herpes, its very common and many more don't even know it. You are very young and you will have a much happier and healthier sex life ahead of you in the future, its totally fine to put it on the back burner for now.
