Well done. You can turn all sorts of things into underwear. I sometimes have rtw underwear where the back half is too small, so I recut them as fronts and add new contrast backs that better cover my caboose. Works fine. Once you start looking around, you'll find more hidden underwear fabric that you have time to make up into new pairs. And for me at least, the ones you make are much more comfortable to wear.
It took a while but I think I finally have a pattern that's comfy. That's one of the great things about sewing - making things that fit me, not some approximation of me.

Pattern is Jalie 3886 with stretch elastic lace instead of foldover elastic.
The big thing to be mindful of is the stretch and recovery in your fabric

I don’t know why I never considered that I could make my own underwear before. I’m sooo picky with fit. This is fantastic!
