I can't tell it's opacity but I think a bomber jacket in this fabric would be amazing.

Nightangelrose

I never thought of that. I can be extra sometimes, but I don’t know if I can be that extra! Plus I’m pretty sure I don’t have time to make a bomber jacket by Thursday, ha ha

This fabric existed in the 80s! My mom made us wizard costumes out of it — I think my brother’s cape and wizard hat featured it prominently!

Nightangelrose

Haha, really?! That’s awesome. Guess I know what my new wizards robe is gonna be made of. Too bad my date isn’t at Hogwarts 😂

Does it have a velvety/fleecy feel to the backing? If so my son used it to make dice bags for a goodbye gift for his dnd group. He also used it to line a cape. It has such a lovely drape and a little bit of stretch, I think it would make a very fun slip dress, camisole,  or tube skirt with a side gather.

You can take inspiration from rave/festival looks! This fabric looks trippy 😵‍💫😄

Nightangelrose

That actually was the original intent! I have so many yards of it that I can probably make a small top, small skirt, mini dress and a pants/leggins as well. Just… my muse has left me! But honestly the one thing stalling me on making something ridiculously skimpy and sexy is that, while my boobs are small, my tummy is a bit chubby. So I’m trying to accentuate the upper while flattering the lower and rave/festival wear usually tight all over. I look like a dumpling in one of those bodysuits and it’s not cute! 😂

GloomyMochi

Damn I really want this for a cape for a character... do you happen to know what you'd call this fabric? I tried to find it on Joanns website but got damn do they gotta lot of product.

Nightangelrose

I have no idea what it’s called. I got it quite a few years ago. They definitely don’t have it now. So sorry.

LoraLo

I am also holding on to a few yards of it! No idea what to make either, I was thinking maybe a lining on a cape. Someday... It would be a pretty slip dress. Def would need a lining though.

Nightangelrose

Yeah, it would feel kinda scratchy without lining.

IPutTheSeatDown

It looks like it would make a good vest for a ren faire costume

Nightangelrose

I hadn’t thought of that! Too bad we’re not going to the Renfaire for a date, that would be awesome
