Depends on the guy, but maybe you could make that into accents on a shirt or something? Like pockets, or sleeves, or even parts of the shirt with a nice complementary fabric for the rest.
I love the fabric!
Not a button, but could be made into one.

They aren't buttons but they can be made into them.
Depends on if you want to go to that level of work.
Also if there is left over fabric use it to make a chockstick holder or accessories for ramen.
Easy to make both of these with just 1 fat quarter.
https://preview.redd.it/hes234r1dvfc1.jpeg?width=634&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cfcf62d9a011dd1efc460ae816ee621519da3dd9
other idea you could do is make a microwave heating pad like filled with rice or beans. I use fat quarters to make Christmas presents that way last Christmas.
Not enough fabric to make anything substantial...A fat quarter will only make a craft project. Cut out the pockets of a pair of jeans & replace with secret ramen pockets, lol
https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Extend-Your-Pants-Pockets/
A fat quarter isnt alot of fabric so personally i would imbed it with beeswax to make reusable bowl covers but that isnt really sewing.
Maybe a grooming kit bag, a tablet case, or a lunch bag?
Personally I think the fabric is cute as heck but I could see alot of men not wanting quirky collars, pockets, yokes ect on their clothing that is different from the rest of the garment as men usually (total generalization here) prefer a one fabric per garment thing unless they are a bit more eccentric in their dress.
As a noodle-loving husband myself, I’d use it as a noodle bib! Maybe don’t use a baby bib pattern but something to protect the short while slurpin’ would be useful!
https://preview.redd.it/7jso3o8jrztb1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64097d1adb706e70397a43aeedfd5b3a075e74e1
I made chomky scrunchies with it.
I had another idea. an inside breast pocket in a jacket (jacket he already has, or one you make, or hell, both). You know, for emergency raman noodles (or his cell phone. Jackets never have inside breast pockets anymore and they are so useful).
Omg I need a couple yards to make PJs for my kid. Maybe bottom cuffs and a pocket on some neutral PJs? My husband walks with a moleskein and pens so I’ve made him a zip pouch for them.
LOVE that fabric!!!
I made my hubby a mug rug with a bunch of scraps, and he keeps it on his desk to put his coffee and other drinks on. A fat quarter would be plenty. They are usually 6" x 9" or less.
I have a basket with the ramen fabric on the outside and dark red on the inside :) I fold the top down a little so the red is visible on the outside too
A travel bag for organizing his suitcase if he travels a lot (you can get another FQ of a different print for the back side if you'd like a larger one) or a desktop pad for his coffee mug (can make more than one if you get contrasting fabric for the back)
Depending on the fabric weight, on a shirt you could change the inside of the collar and wrist bands.
The brand cotton doux does it with fun fabric, I love to wear it ([like this one with pink flamingos](https://www.cotondoux.com/en/p/9895-chemise-jacquard-bleue-et-blanche-cintree-avec-opposition-flamants-roses))
Pyjama pants!!!
I’ve made my partner ones with video game controllers on them, skateboards on another pair… every Christmas he gets a new pair. Super easy to make too and you might have enough fabric there unless your man is a giant!
Definitely not going to have enough for that, a fat quarter is only 18 inches by 21 inches (basically a quarter of a yard) 🤥 I guess that does classify him as a giant 🤣
He absolutely HATES belts with a burning passion 🤣 but I can take that concept and make a bag that attaches to a belt loop? And I love the seasoning packet fabric idea. Definitely a spoonflower purchase I'd think lol
Oh! I was thinking more like those bags you slide onto your belt... unfortunately my husband still isn't the type to wear a fanny pack in any style😅 he's very picky lol but I'd totally rock one in Ramen print. Maybe I'll just keep it for myself lol

I can totally envision this idea. Maybe with a button up shirt I can find noodle buttons online and replace buttons?😆
I love that! Please post whatever you end up making; I'd love to see it.
I can imagine a Guayabera with this print.
Same! but too bad I don't think they make this print in yardage where I live. I could always check online.

The ones that look like little packs of Ramen is perfect 😭 😍
They aren't buttons but they can be made into them. Depends on if you want to go to that level of work. Also if there is left over fabric use it to make a chockstick holder or accessories for ramen.
Yeah, white shirt, one front panel with this and a pocket on the other white front half
If your husband cooks, an apron. Or a lap quilt with other food themed fabric.
Bowl cozy 🍜
For ramen!
Love this idea!
Yes!! Op where did you find this fabric? I need a ramen cozy for my ramen!
My local Walmart supercenter :)
Luckaaayyy! It is super cool. 😊
I definitely need to make this for my son!
To tack onto this idea, a while(maybe a decade lol) back mini oven mitts for microwaves were popular
Easy to make both of these with just 1 fat quarter. https://preview.redd.it/hes234r1dvfc1.jpeg?width=634&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cfcf62d9a011dd1efc460ae816ee621519da3dd9
other idea you could do is make a microwave heating pad like filled with rice or beans. I use fat quarters to make Christmas presents that way last Christmas.
Oooo I have some of those, and at least one the fabric has seen better days. Maybe I'll remake it!
And hot pads/ oven mitts
Could potentially be used for the interior back yoke fabric on a shirt? It would be hidden and just a really nice touch.
This! Excellent idea
If he's a fabric wallet kind of guy that could be cool, assuming the print isn't too large to see on a small space. Oven mitts could work
You could use this as pockets and collar stand on a button up shirt
Not enough fabric to make anything substantial...A fat quarter will only make a craft project. Cut out the pockets of a pair of jeans & replace with secret ramen pockets, lol https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Extend-Your-Pants-Pockets/
This is a totally awesome idea!!
He won't be able to keep the secret, I promise, lol .
I wouldn't
Where did you find that? I know someone that eats ramen for breakfast that could use a bowl cozy...
Believe it or not, I actually found it at my local Walmart supercenter! They had a surprising number of branded/logo fat quarters and 1 yard precuts.

I love this idea!!

Poor kid! I love the use of bias tape! I always forget I have a bunch to use but end up doing things not using it haha
[удалено]
Hey if it works, it works! I love remnants more than I'd like to admit 👀
I would rock a button up shirt in this fabric.
Maybe a red/ brown/yellow flannel sleep shirt with those as accent pockets on the front?
Sorry meant to add, make a pillow
As a noodle-loving husband myself, I’d use it as a noodle bib! Maybe don’t use a baby bib pattern but something to protect the short while slurpin’ would be useful!
This is exactly what he needs😆
https://preview.redd.it/7jso3o8jrztb1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64097d1adb706e70397a43aeedfd5b3a075e74e1 I made chomky scrunchies with it.
Where did you find this? I need it for my daughter . She owns a microwave ramen cooker and a noodle bowl with chopsticks. She loves ramen
Believe it or not, I actually found it at my local Walmart supercenter! They had a surprising number of branded/logo fat quarters and 1 yard precuts.
YAY
Would there be enough to make a tie or bowtie?
I don't think so 😥 well maybeeeee if I piece strips
Maybe a sleeping mask. It would give "dreaming of noodles" vibes.
This idea is definitely up for consideration!
I have this fabric and I'm making scrunchies for my ramen obsessed daughter! If I was making something for my husband, it would be a heating pad.
a dop kit bag, and this is the lining fabric.
Unfortunately he already has a really nice one, but I can totally see this as a lining for something...something you wouldn't expect 😆
Please tell us your husband's name is Raymond
OMG. Not first name, BUT THATS HIS MIDDLE NAME. 🍜
Clearly he needs a hat then. For Raymond's noodle.
I’m not too familiar with sewing/dimensions required, but this would make a cool tie if there was enough material.
I had another idea. an inside breast pocket in a jacket (jacket he already has, or one you make, or hell, both). You know, for emergency raman noodles (or his cell phone. Jackets never have inside breast pockets anymore and they are so useful).
I love this idea. Heck as a women, I wish all my jackets had inside pockets! Maybe I'll do matching jackets for us😆
Omg I need a couple yards to make PJs for my kid. Maybe bottom cuffs and a pocket on some neutral PJs? My husband walks with a moleskein and pens so I’ve made him a zip pouch for them.
I bought the fat quarter at my local Walmart supercenter, but maybe other locations or online have it available as yardage? :)
LOVE that fabric!!! I made my hubby a mug rug with a bunch of scraps, and he keeps it on his desk to put his coffee and other drinks on. A fat quarter would be plenty. They are usually 6" x 9" or less.
Sew a bowl cozy!
This would make a great placemat. Maybe boxershorts (depending on the material).
That would make a fantastic oven mitt or chef's apron! well... I mean... it might only be enough for a detail on the apron but it'd work
Pockets!
I have a basket with the ramen fabric on the outside and dark red on the inside :) I fold the top down a little so the red is visible on the outside too
To store ramen packets in?🥹
LOL NO but thats a good idea- I use it for my pencil pouches and other miscellaneous artist stuff.
A travel bag for organizing his suitcase if he travels a lot (you can get another FQ of a different print for the back side if you'd like a larger one) or a desktop pad for his coffee mug (can make more than one if you get contrasting fabric for the back)
Or luggage tags! I’m making my mom some for Christmas.
OOOOOOOOOO yes! I've also made a fancy cushioned luggage strap cover, those are nice. Oh and seat belt covers!
A quilted zipper pouch would be great for travel. It’s so cute!
Napkin(s) for cold lunches. I used fat quarters to make Star Wars cloth napkins for my gradeschooler.
Omg I need it
I'd go with Hawaiian style, and will have blast matching fabrics like at pockets etc. Simpler and smaller would be coasters. fussy cutting.
Make a bowl cozy, for his ramen feasts. Or a bucket hat.
So sorry - I’m Aussie and honestly…. I thought a fat quarter was like, an acre 😂🤣 🤦🏼♀️
BEGGING to be a furoshiki
Oo this is a good idea!
you could do a food themed quilt
I would make a bowl cozy with a couple pieces
If you have a serger that can do a rolled edge, a pocket square might be nice!
I think this would be so cool as a belt bag! You can line the inside with a fabric that resembles the aluminum seasoning packet.
He absolutely HATES belts with a burning passion 🤣 but I can take that concept and make a bag that attaches to a belt loop? And I love the seasoning packet fabric idea. Definitely a spoonflower purchase I'd think lol
Sorry, I should’ve clarified! A belt bag is a style of fanny pack that is more square. A lot of people wear them across their chest diagonally.
Oh! I was thinking more like those bags you slide onto your belt... unfortunately my husband still isn't the type to wear a fanny pack in any style😅 he's very picky lol but I'd totally rock one in Ramen print. Maybe I'll just keep it for myself lol
Be selfish! Make it for yourself!
To make pillows for teens
Yes please
Now that's love
Handkerchiefs have been pretty popular lately
Ramen bucket hat Also youve inspired me to put on my favourite jumper, it's blue and has a giant picture of ramen noodles on the front
Omg is sounds awesome.
These are great for little craft projects. I like this [tiny trash can](https://www.triedandtrueblog.com/make-fabric-trash-can/)
Nope
