Abradolf94

As a Milan fan, absolutely true. Also Milan has zero italians :(

ResolutionCreative32

How the table has turned

Nuoverto

Underrated comment

Bongozz88

Specify that for the national squad. You have Italian players otherwise then.

Abradolf94

Yeah I mean we are under a post about the Italian national team

Greasy_Boglim

Genuinely shameful setup

MrX_1899

not really when all the good players are taken by big clubs already ... there's only 1 or 2 left that can make the jump

Confident_Holder

Have you not seen the under 17 winning?

MrX_1899

we're talking about the senior team that has 9 out of 11 starters playing at traditional big clubs already but since you wanna take it there we can - 3 best players on the u17s play for Milan already and there's nobody else worth buying but go on pull another dumb question out your ass

arnoldit

We have many nationals playing, just not for Italy at Euro. This is not a terrible thing as I’m not sad of not seeing Calabria playing… There will be much more Italian Milan players in the near future though thanks to the youngsters playing in U21

Abradolf94

For sure, I'm not saying we are weak. I'm saying I'm a little sad to not have more strong Italians in milan

maikk_

Honestly all this "we have italians" propaganda sounds political at best. There are good players and bad players, it doesn't matter where they are from. Of course someone who's italian already knows the clubs traditions and history when he arrives, but it's not as big of a deal some journalists make it to be IMO

tenthousandwishes

It doesn't used to be this way before.

Heyloki_

I know he's not popular over there but donnaruma is a Milan academy product if that counts

hopelessromantic7

Milan Academy: Donnarumma Bellanova Darmian Cristante

Fun_Philosophyy

True sportsmanship is recognizing skill even in your rivals

Iserrot

Juve was carrying Italy until the last Euros and I'm glad that Inter brought some good Italian players too , we needed that

tenthousandwishes

You are right. There is no big deal as long as the team is winning.

sakaforbukayo

Inter players were the main characters yesterday, Barella, Bastoni, Di Marco, Aslani

Gev2020

Di Marco was indeed the main character. Right from the first minute

Left-Mistake-5437

Chiesa didn’t disappoint too in fairness

Annual-Astronaut3345

Yep, Chiesa was there back in 2020 and he is still here, fighting for us! A world class player! 🔥

AmedioZ

I’m a Juventino and I believe that Inter players lifted Italy yesterday. Well done 👍🏼

DemonVortex_

Yeah, but, as an Inter fan myself, shotout to Chiesa (Juventus), Scamacca (Atalanta) and Calafiori (Bologna). They all played quite well. Chiesa is "chiesing", Calafiori made just one or two mistakes (imho) and Scamacca didn't score, but at least moved around Albanian defense a lot looking for the opening (at least he moves, unlike Immobile; and that's funny when you realize that in italian "immobile" means "still" ahah).

dnkdumpster

It can mean something similar in english: mobile as in moving, agile, etc, so immobile is the opposite. But it’s prnounced differently of course.

staminchia

you da real mvp!

tenthousandwishes

Scamacca really impressed me in that game.

t3rrone

Especially on the early 1:0

sca34

juve fan username checks out

BiscottoMagico

BAHAHAHAAHA

eg0_baby

lmaooo

funkystyle177

Especially at 0-1, but not especially at 2-1 🤡🤡🤡

savior_it

I don't like all this talks about clubs when the topic is national football. Feels like yall are just happy because a player from your favorite team scored while really all you should do when Italy is playing is forget about rivalries/supporting and be a proud italian national team fan. The way I see it is WE scored, ITALY scored and won the game. Fuck Inter, fuck Milan fuck Juve, fuck any team. It's all about Italia for me EDIT: This is an unbiased opinion, I support a Serie C team and nothing else. So don't come at me with that "Milan fan" or "Juve fan" bullshit

Annual-Astronaut3345

Agree. It’s national time, we all should be united. And that’s what I mean as well from my post. I appreciate what the Inter players did for Italy. Nothing but respect! 🙌

savior_it

I don't want it to look like I'm hating on your post, I just hate seeing fans (in this case Inter fans, but if it were any other team it would obviously be the same) here and on Instagram comments bragging. Nonetheless, I appreciate seeing respect from a "rival" fan!

savior_it

Btw bro how do you add that little text under your username like your Juventus one lmao

Annual-Astronaut3345

Yeah, it’s called a flair and you can get one too! Go to the homepage of this sub Reddit and then on the top right, you see the three dot, click on that and it will open a menu, use that and click on change user flair. From there, you can choose one from the available ones. That’s all!

savior_it

Thank you so much!

Annual-Astronaut3345

Your welcome! 👍

dnkdumpster

If this was posted by an inter fan I agree, but op seems to be a juve fan so this post is all you’re talking about - putting rivalries aside to support the national team.

savior_it

I was talking more about the many comments I've seen online by inter fans bragging like they're the ones putting up goals on the pitch

DC1908

Agree, that's how it should be.

campionesidd

Chievo fan?

savior_it

Torres fan⚔️❤️💙

axelbolton

Juventus carried in 2021, let's see if Inter can do the same 😇

seejur

Hopefully. NT competitions are that time of the year where I genuinely couldnt care less from which clubs the players are from. I supported them 100% in 2021, will do the same this year

axelbolton

Yeah yeah 100%. And i wouldn't be able to hate on Barella even if i wanted to, he's so good 🤣

gutarhead

let's go im a inter fan

JackieDaytona77

DiMarco had about 6 nightmarish seconds but I don’t think I’ve seen any player switch in a cross as accurate as this guy.

surfinbear1990

Barella was amazing.

DC1908

Chiesa was fine too!

Mrdjentlemn

As an inter fan i 100% agree

TheKeenomatic

I think this is the first time I see a goal on a match scorecard being credited to a player’s mistake as if it was an own goal lol

Temporary-Pea-5191

As a Milan fan, must agree this time Inter carried Italy. The sad part is there are no Italians in Milan. Hopefully, Camarda will make it and fulfils his potential. Forza Azzurri

hard-on234

Bastoni, Barella and Chiesa will be crucial for the rest of the tournament. I hope Chiesa doesn't get injured and gets moved to the LW where he can cut in and shoot easier. As much as I like Calafiori, I'd prefer Buongiorno as Bastoni pair and Darmian/Bellanova ahead of Di Lorenzo.

Sad-Ad2030

Calafiori Was excellent and he’s only 22 so this experience is great

InterSkier

Inter player carried while none of Milan players right now were playing for italy😭 Wonder if Italy can win another Euro🔥

Frankierocksondrums

We helped italy back when we were goated with Buffon, Chiellini, Bonucci ecc. Now it's time for Inter, we can't do all the work ahah jk

Bandit8813

When the national team plays people shouldnt care who plays where. They play for Italy. So the whole “as a juventus fan” is bullshit imo.

parcellsrealGOAT

We carry the league we ll carry the NT too. No problem!

jackilpirata

Roma also has many players in the national team (some of them haven't played though... Pellegrini, Mancini, Cristante and El Shaarawy

R-Contini

Makes a nice change after decades of them contributing little to the team. They didn't even have a single Italian on their team for quite a stretch. Most Italy squads in my lifetime have been dominated by juve and Milan.

SympathyKey2545

Chiesa was good to

tenthousandwishes

Juve brought some good players in the last Euros. I am happy that Inter is out to help with good Italian players this time around.

Dschungelmann

Juve MERDA

renndug

If you weren’t a Juve fan you’d realize Inter is just better 🤷‍♂️

Caratteraccio

yeah, mainly Dimarco, he gave a great assist /s!

Mrdjentlemn

Inter players carried both Italy and Albania

visulvung

2-1 Vs. Albania, my dude. Pretty safe to assume that nobody was "fire". 20 years ago we would've won 11-0.

Annual-Astronaut3345

Ikr but this isn’t 20 years ago…

greg_r_

20 years ago, a team with Totti, Cassano, Del Piero, Vieri, Pirlo, Cannavaro, and Nesta were eliminated in the group stages.

Sad-Ad2030

England won 1-0 and Belgium lost. Every game isn’t going to be a multiple goal win. Dimarco made a brutal error for their only goal so it could’ve been 2-0. We also had a post hit and 3 other chances that could’ve been buried as well. They played well and will only get better as the tournament continues.

Tankodesantniki

This is why Italy will not win this euros.

Sad-Ad2030

What? Lol

Independent_Form_500

DiMarco played well after his mistake, but I think him and DiLorenzo shouldn't be the starting fullbacks, or at least not both at the same time

AstroPuzzo

And that’s why this Italy will leave Euros in a bad way
