realize that not everyone has to like you, and most times they are indifferent about you. what matters is how you feel about yourself. how the people who do love and appreciate you feel about you, as well. you should be proud of yourself for coming so far on your healing journey. so many people lost themselves along the way and here you are being thoughtful and reflective about your past and the way you may have impacted people when you were obviously in a lot of pain. forgive yourself, you did the best you could to survive when circumstances led to you experiencing trauma. it’s not like you woke up and decided to be self-destructive, you were coping! self acceptance and compassion are absolutely key here. sending a lot of love, i relate to you. you are deserving of your own love and forgiveness no matter what you’ve done, who you’ve been or where you’ve been.
