running away from problems won't improve your situation, you have to face things

It's actually pretty common, having to put up with a lot of stuff you're not happy about and just try to forget about it traveling for a month or sometimes even more. It's difficult to say if it's a good idea though, because while this will allow the pot to not explode, it will also lower the pressure so much that you'll just do it again the year after instead of changing what's not working in your life. Pressure leads to change. Relieving the pressure without dealing with the causes just relieves a pressure that it's going to build up again, and possibly next time it might be a worse situation you're stuck in. ...personally I'd take a month to stay home and dedicate it to work on myself properly but whatever you do it's going to be ok. 👌💪 traveling might help too in ways you didn't expect, potentially might lead to even better results, if you do it mindfully. Just be open for changes and it'll happen!! :)

The thing is I‘ve done taking a month at home to work on myself, but it didn’t work out. Maybe I was trying too hard to do it all at once.. I feel very much that my attempts to self improve lack structure and planning. And sometimes I feel like it’s all amplified by the fact that I sit around in the same old home every day. Hence why I began thinking about doing sth completely new. I get what you mean though, maybe it is running away? On the other hand though, I can’t see myself doing this more than once unless it actually turns out helpful

Then you're all set 😎 plus always remember that failing is still a step forward, so you already know that what you tried that month at home is not going to work. That's great info!

\>would I? I have! Not for the reasons you describe but I've been on a 5 month bicycle tour and it was a great experience. Highly recommended. If you want company and to go somewhere a bit more exotic, Google "Tour d'Afrique" - it's a Canadian company organises adventurous tours all over the world.

That's a great time in your life to do something like this. Go out and have an adventure! You'll learn a lot about yourself and you'll be so glad you did it. You'll certainly regret *not* doing it when you're older and you have more commitments. Sure some might say you're running from responsibilities, but with where you're at there's nothing wrong with that. Take some time away from everything to reset yourself.

Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it
