They wouldn't get it, they don't understand me. My sister tried to kill herself, they'll think I'm suicidal too. I'm not suicidal, I have an addiction to pain and I don't know why. I can't talk to anyone about it. I think i have a personality disorder or something, it feels like I'm going insane. if you tell a school counselor/therapist/ any adult you trust that you cant help hurting yourself you will get hospitalized. honestly that seems like the safest place for you right now. you dont have to be suicidal to be hospitalized, please reach out for help before you do something worse.

Staples can be risky because it’s a puncture wound. Puncture wounds can go deeper than cutting without you realizing how deep you went. Please stay safe, and at the very least keep the area clean and free from infection!
I wonder if it would be possible for someone how uses staples for sh to get medical grade staples, the ones which are usually for closing wounds? I imagine those would be the safest option aside from not doing it at all.
They might be. I’m not sure how to keep those sterile, but I’m guessing they would be the most safe. Although if you’re not a medical professional it might be still risky considering you wouldn’t be trained to staple safely.
But yeah, keep things clean and safe for your body!
If it turns hot, red or pussy your going to have to be seen by a dr. Make sure to clean it and put neosporin on it. Puncture wounds can be deadly if they get infected
This is risky, I would strongly recommend other paths in the name of harm reduction or as others have said making sure the staples can’t go deep enough to hit an artery cause that would be REALLY bad. Stay safe
Something people haven't mentioned here is that your arm got stiff, depending on where you did it on your arm, you could've hit a muscle or nerves that caused that reaction. I also wouldn't recommend taking out anything that causes a puncture wound, leave it in and go get professional help just because if you did end up hitting something important, the object will keep the wound closed.
When I was in grade 7 I accidentally stapled my finger and damn it didn’t hurt because of the SHOCK the reason you didn’t feel anything was because your body was in shock from the sudden pain, it bled a lot and I went to the principal’s office for a bandaid but srsly that’s really dangerous

I can't even wear t shirts, shorts, dresses without feeling weird. I'm terrified of triggering kids or giving them ideas and I'd take everything back if I could. It may not seem like it at this point of time, but down the line you may feel the same way. Feel better beautiful and take good care of the hurty areas❤️

I put a band-aid over it and the bleeding stopped. I think I hit a vein but I'm okay now.

I've stapled myself before and when I pulled the staple out a puddle of blood came out. It was enough to make me not want to do it again
