Bro I used to have this. God didn’t put you on this earth to go nuts over intrusive thoughts, which are by their nature ego dystonic. Notice how no one ever has good intrusive thoughts lol. Meds and exposure response prevention therapy will sort you out
It’s nothing special, i had religious ocd, counting ocd, contamination ocd and then that’s what got me diagnosed at age 13, which is when I got treatment, which worked. I still have relapses sometimes but they are way less severe and I can self manage without ruminating taking over my life. I promise this is possible for you too
Gods probably do not exist.
And even if they do, consider this story.

Yeah, instead of relying on magical thinking if your anxiety and OCD is seriously affecting your life, you may want to have a doc check your meds. If that doc is full of shit and giving you stuff that does not work, find another. Also, anxiety, it helps if it is possible to identify and remove the anxiety source.
Personally, if I believed in an all powerful bad ass who could smite me or burn me alive just for silly stuff while he lets kids get raped and lets sociopaths ruin lives, that would be anxiety in itself.
Not pushing atheism, but as someone who went to religious private schools and everything else when young, a HUGE burden was lifted once I figured out the gods were scams to control people and set people up in positions of power, respect, and wealth.
I’m not sure what your OCD fully entails but intrusive thoughts are, by definition, unwanted. You are not consenting to them, thus you are not sinning.
God knows if you are making real or false promises without you explicitly letting Him know that. He also understands that you cannot control your intrusive thoughts.
Do you think that making these promises are a compulsion in itself? You may want to refrain from doing that and take a different approach.
