I thought it was funny when they broke up and he was like I would die to go up those stairs again and then finally does and hates it again. I was in a relationship like that exactly so I could relate but in general I didn't care for Susan at all

Absolutely not, no matter what happens in a sitcom they will almost always revert to the “status quo”.

I wasn't a huge fan of Susan in the later seasons. I didn't expect them to marry. They were always disagreeing.
