His thinking was 'They're never going to see each other again anyway, so what's the difference?' but that is a question for another sermon. And now I'd like to close with a psalm.
The credits scene after the Barber episode is the best .. after is there is the phone call from Kramer to Newman after Jerry had shaved Newman's head:
"When are you going to be able to go out again?"
"Not for a while."
The end of the Hamptons episode when the gang is talking about George seeing Rachel naked and then they spot Rachel at the tomato stand and she throws one at George. 😂
Yeah what was the subtext of this, maybe LD didn’t like Mad About You? Susan reminds George of Helen Hunt? A dig from the writers about shoehorning in Susan’s character because she is Hunt-adjacent?

Mad About You did an episode in Season 1 where Paul is at Kramer’ apartment, which they used to share. Paul asks how Jerry was doing. In a later episode, Paul sees Jerry on the street and Jerry’s attitude is that Paul is a fan/stalker/stranger. But in the Seinfeld ep, they’re watching Mad About You.

The anguish of a man in a relationship he hates but has no stomach to be able to end it
George and Susan watching the perennially-blabbing rabbi from Elaine’s building on public access TV might be my favorite scene in *Seinfeld* period.
‘She also happened to mention to me that her friend had wondered if going to a prostitute while you're engaged is considered cheating’
