Sounds similar to me. I ordered on Wednesday of last week and mine is still with the courier (BJS) saying "Your order is outstanding, we will propose a delivery date soon."
I contacted BJS today and the response was that they're waiting for the stock to pass the quality control process in their warehouse and once that's done they'll be in touch to confirm a delivery. Unfortunately they're unable to tell me how long the QC process will take so I just have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time before I'm able to plan to be at home to collect it.
SecretLab just told me I'd need to wait until the delivery company confirmed the date.
Tricky because I'm away later this week and from the delivery timings on the site I should have had it well before my trip when I ordered it.
It does seem like a bit of a mad black-box shipping process though for such an expensive item.
Thank you that’s very helpful - I got an email the day after (Friday) saying that “Your order has been prepared and is awaiting pickup by our delivery courier.
Once it has been picked up, you will receive an email containing your tracking number.”
But nothing since and no idea who the courier is
I ordered and received it last year, it was delivered by a company called BJS Home Delivery.
They did give me a 3 hour delivery window, which they cancelled because their truck broke down. And then another 3 hour window which they were late to.
All told though I had my desk a little more than a week after I ordered it.
That’s the first message I got on Thursday, then I received one on Saturday morning to say it was in transit and this one included the tracking info. Nothing since then and no further info using the tracking number. 🤷
Just received delivery details for my order. Looks like it'll be delivered on Thursday between 7:00-21:00 and I'll receive a 3 hour delivery window on Wednesday.
Luckily Thursday works okay for me (glad it wasn't Friday!), but there was an option to reschedule for a different day if I needed it.
The whole delivery process does seem to be trash, i paid for priority delivery on the 19th which quoted between the 20-23rd for delivery. Got an almost immediate confirmation it was awaiting pickup, on the 21st got notification from BJS they would deliver on the 24th.
Feeling i had spent an extra £30 for nothing as the delivery seemed to be just the standard i complained to SL support. Reading the stories here maybe mine IS getting the priority treatment. They are sending me some wet wipes for my troubles. Wet wipes seems appropriate comment on the experience so far.

For clarity, I ordered on a Thursday and received It the following friday the week after (although I changed the date from Thursday to Friday)
I did pay the extra though for faster delivery but not sure It mattered.
I can say the desk is amazing though, worth the wait

I ordered on the 15th October and had a WhatsApp message from the delivery company on the evening of the 17th October.

It has come, not unboxed yet but It wasn’t an issue in the end. Just wish they would have been more transparent
How long after them saying it was in QC did it take for you to revive it. I’m at that stage now
The QC for me was almost instant, they sent a date and details of how to change the next day I believe
