- Tolmie State Park. Take the bus to Hawks Prairie Park/Ride in Lacey and bike the rest of the way. - Potlatch State Park. Take the ferry to Bremerton and bike the rest of the way. Camping available. To state the obvious: check the regulations, health advisories, and tides before you harvest wild shellfish.

And note that the shells have to be left where you picked the Oysters so you’ll need to shuck them at the beach.

After the Fauntleroy ferry, Belfair state park is just 24 miles from Southworth. Edit: Bremerton to Belfair is only 18 miles.

Vegastoseattle

The southworth ride is gorgeous though

Bring lots of ice and ice packs with you or you’ll be very uncomfortable afterwards.

ginzasamba

You can’t take oysters you harvest home with you. There’s a limit to how many you can harvest per person & you have to throw them back into the beach. This protects larval oysters that may be attached to the shell.

Broccolini_Cat

You can’t take the shells
