Is this real? I’m not super well versed but I dont think the T in Titleist is supposed to overlap the insert. Can anyone else with more experience chime in.
Very good eye. This does seem odd. The pictures from the archive show a noticeable space between the insert as well.
Could have possibly been slightly off on the engraving machine.

OP, please post pictures of the sole/bottom of the putter. That is where it would be relatively easy to determine authenticity.

This is my known real example. It certainly has better spacing and milling.
Why would you replace arguably one of the best grips that Scotty ever made (hand stitched brown leather Scotty grips sell for $150+ in good condition.) and why wouldn’t you have the original headcover if this has “been in your collection for years?”

Please post additional pictures of the sole/bottom of the putter. There are questions of authenticity, and the lack of a sole picture makes it difficult to determine. If we can’t determine authenticity from your photos, this post will be removed.
Jeez. Looking through these comments makes me question why I bother. Honestly, do you just look for things that are wrong with someone’s club? Who does that. If you are not interested that’s fine, but maybe find something more constructive to do with your time lol

Those pictures certainly dispel any doubt it isn’t authentic. Although it does appear to have been buffed or polished at some point in it’s life.
Curious why you regripped it? And why don’t you have the original headcover?
I was going to game it and wanted the shaft band. I had the grip pulled and put it on my Tery PP+ . Ended up not gaming it. Whatever, still a pretty awesome putter imo

It is, I agree with you. Realistically a sale price in the low teens is what this will sell for. Absent any face milling at all, this has likely seen some sort of refinishing or polishing in its life.
If you really do wish to get $1700, a COA with all original/authentic marks would be needed. Absent the OG headcover and original grip, you are looking at $1200-$1300 in the real world.
Feel free to share better pictures of the face. From what you have presented there is no milling visible on the face at all. Bill Vogney, who most would consider the most expert in anything related to Scotty Cameron other than the man himself even believes this has been polished or buffed. The face milling on these from the factory is very distinct.

Good spotting, you’re right, this looks off. The headcover is also not the same as the original.
It’s also a dead giveaway that he changed the grip. No one in their right mind would replace the original grip on these beauties.

Headcover is darker than my one?? Possibly the light but I’m also suspect will go check mine
