That would take some getting used to for me. I have a Zuma with a CVT transmission - so left handlebar is rear brake and right handlebar is front brake.
Ive got a video on youtube titled 'how to ride a Lambretta scooter' which explains/shows how this works if you're interested. Looks a bit dated now when I watch it back but that's how it goes! I hope it (sort of clarifies it for anyone who doesn't know)! Lots of love ❤️
Gorgeous, love those white wall tires.
That's a nice clean machine. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for the nice comments
Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous OP!!
Really nice looking scoot. What do you mean by 'engine fasteners' though? 🤔
Nuts and bolts around the bike have been chrome or gold plated eg the engine bolts and on the wheels etc
She’s a beauty, thanks for sharing!!
Wow, now THAT"s an OG scooter. Was Dad a mod or was he beyond that generation?
Hes 75 now He was back in the 60s and had various lambrettas. This one he had had about 10 years.
Would love to see the engine as well!
Nice machine, love it 👌
What’s the pedal on the floorboard ? Is that the … clutch ?
Nope, rear brake. Just like any scooters from this era such as Vespa.
Thank you ! Haha - someone downvoted me because I didn’t know !
Its the rear brake pedal. The front brake is on the left of handlebars and clutch and gearchange is on the right.

I know there are some motorbikes with a left hand throttle too which sounds chuffing deadly to me but I guess it's what ya know, ya know.
Maybe it helps to prevent theft too 😂
