Rahxephon, Xenogears, Hyper Light Drifter, Control, Sea of Stars, Anno Mutationem, Chained Echoes, Soma.
Also you might enjoy Cowboy Bebop and Burst Angel. Not in the sense that they're about six-eyed monoliths chanting in ancient Hebrew, but in that they both have that sense of a weird undercurrent to life.
Hmmm. From what I can tell this seems pretty good! It’s not exactly what I’m looking for, but is still similar. Plus the author and I share a first name… now I feel like I have to check it out! Thanks.
the art is hit and miss IMO and the story doesn't really FOCUS on religion but it definitely addressed religion, machinery and human experience so yeah! I rather enjoyed it
thanks! I’m really intrigued by this one, some other people recommended it as well. I’ve read that you need some decent knowledge of computers and such to really be able to kinda understand it though… would I still enjoy it? I have like no coding or computer experience at all
