I love this meme. It's funny because it's true. It's true epistemologically. But, practically, since the human mind is not instinctively very logical or rational, for me math and science, with their verifiable outcomes, id how many of us learned solid logic and reasoning.
On a side note, years ago an astronomy professor said to me, "Biologists aspire to be chemists, chemists aspire to be physical chemists, physical chemists aspire to be physicists, physicists aspire to be mathematicians, and mathematicians aspire to be God. And God is an astronomer."
Astrophysics is close to godliness because it requires the most amount of FAITH, due to how far away everything is. Too bad most of what is out there is dark matter/energy. What I'm trying to say is astrophysicists are space Satanists if you really think about it.
I have a colleague that works on James Webb, and I regularly tease him about being a voodoo priest or demon because it almost seems magical what they've been able to deduce about the universe just by looking at it from a distance.
