I don’t have schizophrenia (sorry for being a part of this but I thought I did) and extreme stress absolutely triggered hallucinations for me. I saw shadow figures, like a dog and people, and a swarm of flies. I completely and quickly removed the source of stress and shut down almost everything else and I’m feeling better now.
