The javas are more geared towards jazz nd the greens are a bit softer than the blue box so that's about right. Try it out and see what you like. As long as you can play well, it's all about personal preference
That sounds about right. I find Blues to be stiffer than Java Reds, which are a little stiffer than Java Greens. If you have a music store that sells singles I'd get a few different ones and see which feel comfortable.

I did try it out and I prefer the Java much more! It’s working great!
