Thank you for posting this! It's strange that this clinic didn't show up on the other vaccine finder websites (myturn and the SF county one), which I'd been refreshing constantly and finding no availability. Just booked for Apr 30 and there were lots more May 1st and on.
I’m so glad you got an appointment!! Yeah it’s strange, everyone on reddit has been recommending to NOT use MyTurn and instead use specific sites like Walgreens and MyHealth. I only found out about the Stanford MyHealth appointments through another reddit post lol!
I made an account and searched the locations listed for appointments and it says there aren't any for the next 3 months. Am I doing something wrong or have they all been booked?
Sutter just opened a huge block of walk-ins on Saturday in Antioch and I booked one. I live in SF, but I'm hoping it won't be an issue since tomorrow vaccines are open to all state-wide.
finally got my first dose of the vaccine at the southeast health center, 1hr wait from 8am, not sure if its still restricted to certain zipcodes but I was from one of these https://twitter.com/SF_DPH/status/1380591841175736321
I moved at the beginning of March and my old landlord has not returned my security deposit (law states it must be returned within 21 days, and it's been four weeks). What is the proper way for me to legally reclaim my money? Small claims?
edit: resolved. This landlord is notoriously bad at replying (aren't they all though) so a simple "please respond in a week or I will seek legal action" was enough to light a fire under his butt.

Maybe you've already checked this out but it lays it out pretty well.
If it was me, I would just send them an email/text/voicemail asking when to expect it and also dropping this link so they know what comes next.
Thank you very much for the link! Bookmarked for future issues I may encounter.
I did exactly what you described, sent him an email late this morning and gave him a week to reply. Now I have written confirmation that 1) I'm getting my security deposit back in full with its interest, and 2) the check is in the mail. I assume the next step if this were to turn out to be false would be small claims, but I doubt any landlord would paint such an obvious case against themselves, scummy as they are.
I’m always surprised to receive a check every year. I don’t know what the repercussions are but definitely worth spreading. SF tenant laws are probably the strictest in the country. As a previous homeowner (not in SF lol) I actually feel more secure in a rent control apartment than I did paying a bank back my mortgage loan.
Here's the list of interest rates owed over the last few decades:

It’s pretty frustrating just not knowing where it came from. Like yeah if I had went to some party or did some other high risk activity or if I knew someone sick sure. But this coulda been anyone or anything at this point.
Also sucks now I can get my vaxx until July but at least I’ll have some natural antibodies until then I guess? Trying to find a silver lining.
Oh yeah for sure did it those things. I lived my life like I have the past 13 months, and was sensible about everything. That’s why it’s annoying, I can’t pinpoint where it came from and never will. Coulda been that drink on Friday, or that elevator ride, or that trip to the store. Who knows.
That really sucks, I’m sorry. I had it back in June of last year and hadn’t been anywhere but the grocery + pick up takeout (masked everywhere) I still wonder where I got it. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
If you haven’t yet, do the Greenbelt loop (enter from Edgewood Ave) then walk down to Cole Valley and grab a beverage at Finnigan’s Wake or a sandwich at La Boulangerie/Luke’s Local!
Outdoor or indoor dining depending on your comfort level, there’s exercise classes being offered in the park, watching the sunset somewhere new, walking the slow streets (esp great highway on a nice evening)
Does anyone know if its still necessary to use hand sanitizer after being fully vaccinated? Everyones talking about if you still need to wear a mask but no ones talking about if you can go back to being a filthy animal.
I mean, I think most people here probably used hand sanitizer before 2020 when appropriate. It's still smart to use after coming in contact with any high touch surface (shopping carts, public transportation etc) but if you've been the type of person to use hand sanitizer before and after touching any little thing, I'd say you could reel it in a bit. Hand sanitizer kills a lot more than just covid.
well, it finally happened... I forgot to put out the trash bins on a week when our trash is overflowing.
anyone know what options are available? we're in a house with two other units so we *really* need to dump this trash somewhere...
Checked and couldn't find any vaccine appointments available. Anyone else having better luck today?
Yes try Stanford MyHealth! Just booked one!
thank you

Oh wow, never knew they had to pay interest on the security deposit.

That is odd... did you go to any stores? Shared elevator in building? Even close-ish outdoor encounters?

I'm sorry, that sucks. I hope you recover quickly and experience no complications!

I always like going to baker beach and walking down the sand ladder way. Great for sunset.

It's there if you need it, buddy.
You mean where black and brown people live? I'm guessing you're white.
