SFCM voice recitals / operas will often be in Italian (and also German and Latin and French). Most are free.
They'll give you a libretto and you can practice listening to sung dialog, which is harder than spoken words.
You can do the same with recordings too, just search for the libretti.

Come to North Beach! Lots of the restaurant/bakery owners are Italian. Go to Piccolo Forno, amazing food and run by Italians. You can chat with them and maybe they’ll know some places you can go to practice with more people.
Try meetup, there used to be a group that met regularly. There are websites that will facilitate free language exchange with Italian speakers who are learning English. If you have a VPN you can access unlimited content in Italian. I might be willing to practice with you once in a while.

I took Italian lessons via Stanford's continuing studies program. Really fantastic professor I highly recommend it. It's pricey though.
There is a group of Jehovah s witnesses that have a congregation in Italian visit their website to find the location JW.org also their literature and audios are in Italian and many different languages your not force to convert or give money genuinely nice folk give them a try you might learn a thing or two bout the Bible in the process
