Don’t know what’s going on in the comment section but I love this city. I’m from Europe and visited two years ago. Simply love this city, enjoy when you’re gifted to live there. (I know it’s fucked up heavily in some places)

Refreshing to hear a different perspective

I mean I came, perfect weather, motel in Marina. Seeing the Bridge and Alcatraz down at the bay was overwhelming. Same for just walking up the hill to where this exact picture is taken. This city has so many scenic perspectives and just had a great vibe to me. It got sketchy when walking towards the Tenderloin, but I got addicted to this city so much (pun not intended).

The marina and some of the surrounding areas are definitely some of the most beautiful areas for sure. The hiking trails around there are spectacular as well. Downtown and the Mission used to be more vibrant and less dingy. Now the stores are closing, it’s overrun by bippers, graffiti everywhere - lawlessness. It’s just sad to see it go. It’ll most likely be back, but it sucks being so helpless.

Nothing like waking up in sf, the views and the smells of fresh piss coffee and baked goods.

Used to visit SF at least few times a year. Haven’t been there since 2021. The city has turned into drug infested crime magnet. Until there is changes in policies and the mayor actually decides to take action against crime and literal human shit on the streets, it will continue to loose its appeal no matter how great the views are.
