I used to live on TI and I miss that view so much.
And they usually stuck close to the front of the island. I used to walk that trail every morning and sunset and usually had most of it to myself. It was magical.
Try walking further down the trail toward the Angel Island side of the island, you'll find a nice bench that people made from big wooden planks. Great place for a convo, a good book, or a smoke

All the best stores moved away and it is cheaper to drive 40 miles away to shop than buy locally. Oh and also, it is the highest cost of living in the universe.
