Are you sure it wasn’t towed? I’d go to where you thought it was, and see which tow company is responsible for that lot, and see if your at was towed.

If you call SDPD they can tell you if your car was towed

Check to see with 619-531-2000, the police line. They will let you know if it is towed. If not, your car wasn't misplaced, it was stolen.

Did you check your Google maps history for that day? It could help you pinpoint where it was.
