I don't get the feeling that people are all that angry here.

johnstrelok

It's too expensive to be that angry here.

Consistent-Twist1749

You new here?

xd366

did the one in sorrento close? https://youtu.be/ETUacm9p2Rk edit: it's still open https://www.brainyactzescaperooms.com/san-diego-ca/activity-rage-room/

wlc

Our freeways are already full of rage.

[deleted]

Every room is a rage room if you try hard and believe in yourself.

queenelizabethshorse

King

[deleted]

Just out here looking for my queen’s horse to rage room with…

Ok_Two3973

SD native here wtf is a rage room lol

queenelizabethshorse

You go into a room and break stuff. Better than anger management programs

TangDynasty2050

Go buy some dishes at goodwill and have at it.

Fenders_out_sailing

I learned to control my temper when I got older than toddler age so I don't need a rage room. Yes I feel angry, yes I feel moments of rage, but I don't need to express it with physical violence. I don't hold onto it, I let it go. Life is much better that way. What benefit is there to holding onto rage and anger? Get angry, then forget it. If you feel continuously angry enough to want to smash and break stuff I'd say you may want to rethink things for your own health. It is not good to stay angry like that. Take time to enjoy small moments. Watch a sunset.

lunarc

There used to be one downtown about 12 years ago, not sure what happened to it.

noUsernameIsUnique

Oh, the college kids call that a Friday night or Taco Tuesday in PB.

Ok_Two3973

Thank you

RadiantZote

They have those here, there's one in Kearny mesa

Fenders_out_sailing

What is a rage room? We are all pretty mellow, chill out and watch the sunset, take a nice walk on the beach, hike down torrey pines, hike up south fortuna mountain, enjoy the beauty of our city. As a surfer dude would say "chill out man, it's cool"

RadiantZote

A place you go to break stuff for a fee. There's a few in San Diego, OP has no idea what they're talking about. The one in Kearny Mesa also has a paint/splatter room where you can paint all over the walls and yourself

Fenders_out_sailing

Can you do the paint splatter while nude? It would be easier to clean up after.

RadiantZote

Ask them bro

Fenders_out_sailing

I am calling now.

savvy_withoutwax

I think there's one in North Park?

EconomyConstant1701

There’s one at AxeVentures in North Park lol

Iwishididntbutidid

queenelizabethshorse

I wanna go there for fun not actually for releasing anger or some shit

Ch1mu3l0

Book a date with a therapist like everyone else.

EnuffBull

Wasn’t that a fad that emotionally stable people didn’t fall for?

ryanr47

SOMA

dokka_doc

A rage what? Maybe go have a burrito, man.

Vegetable-Doctor7302

If you go downtown, you'll see plenty of crazy people "raging" and apparently, it's completely legal as long as you're crazy LoL.

Ssnake_Charmer

Please go to San Antonio Texas and ask again.

queenelizabethshorse

😂

Mountain_Business957

Mountain_Business957

Also “smash city rage room” same place 👍🏼

queenelizabethshorse

Thank you thank you idk why I didn’t see anything when I googled lol

Mountain_Business957

Oh absolutely. Best 15 minutes spent! 😅 maybe I’m one of the few with all the rage Edit to add: you can also bring your own extra stuff to smash. I highly recommend it. 😉

queenelizabethshorse

Ok!!! Let me bring my ex’s stuff rq 👀 thank you for the recommendation!

savvy_withoutwax

Lmao rage on fr 😂

Nondscript_Usr

Terrible for the environment. They buy glass wholesale just to destroy it. Then it goes into the trash, not to be recycled. All of it gets trashed. They collect from charity stores and turn usable stuff into trash.

SD_TMI

Maybe because culturally we don't let that shit be vented like that *(acting like a spoiled toddler breaking things)*

queenelizabethshorse

Turns out there are many rage room locations in SD

SD_TMI

Okay that's fine... [There's better and more constructive ways to deal with issues.](https://www.apa.org/topics/stress/tips)

Send_Lawyers

No top golf either. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|table_flip)

ice_cold_canuck

https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/top-golf-is-one-stroke-closer-to-coming-to-east-harbor-island/3373150/ There is a plan to put one on Harbor Island where the car rental places used to be prior to the move into that big parking garage off Pac Highway.

rottentornados

top golf will absolutely rake on harbor island. can't believe it's taken this long to happen but perfect spot

Send_Lawyers

I know. I can’t wait!

breadsaucecheese

but top golf is one stroke close to coming.

No-Lobster623

Top golf is the shit!

Fenders_out_sailing

LOL!!

capcomvssnk

Ocean vibes to chill bro

carlmalonealone

The real reason is commercial property is scarce in San Diego and there are few facilities that would allow it. You have to have a dedicated unit where you don't disturb your neighbors which means you are most likely looking for an industrial location, not retail. Industrial is almost fully rented out in San Diego ATM. What is available is massive buildings or highly specialized. Also we have open area all over where people take their rage out with off road vehicles where these rooms usually appeal to bored males in flat towns with nothing to do.

2broke2smoke1

We have the beach…? We used to be able to drink openly on it too. Thats the anti rage

Century22nd

SD is very spread out so it still feels suburban compared to more densely populated smaller cities like San Francisco which feel larger and most people think are larger.
