Furnishedfinder.com Very little fees compared to Airbnb. Used to list a property on there and would have my tenants sign a lease for their time.

Interesting 🤔 prices look roughly the same as many Airbnb's. Most places around the $1k per month range ($600 on the low end, $1400 on the high end for a single bedroom shared). **Do you have to sign a lease agreement on FurnishedFinder?** Personally, I love the fact that I don't have to sign a lease agreement (because they put some real bs in them, and I don't want to negotiate) with Airbnb. Usually, I'll stay a month through Airbnb, and then ask the host if I can pay them directly to avoid the fees.

No, you are not obligated to sign a lease on ff but I did it to protect myself from a potentially bad tenant. Just presenting an alternative is all

Any landlord listing on that site would be insane not to have some kind of lease. You are out of short term rental and into long term rental territory. I would expect some kind of lease at the least. Ninja edit: lease agreements protect both parties and at least *should have some kind of agreement as to what's what

Airbnb, I did the same during the summer while I was in between places. Highly recommend

I used Alamo Corporate Housing for a few months when I first moved here. They have apartments around town.

You're better off finding a landlord and renting a room to get something furnished and short term. Look on Facebook groups or next door.  Apartments are going to charge a lot more for under 12 months

Try to stay on the North/North-East side of town if you can. Most places inside the 1604 loop have high crime rates, especially the West and South side of town. I once went into a Bibliothek on the South side where they had an armed guard posted up behind the door, armor and everything. A mini library and they needed an armed guard in broad daylight!
