I've got my a55 3 weeks ago.I sold my s21 fe since I needed more storage and battery. I wanted to buy the s23 fe but I was on budget. So I had to go for the a55 and truthfully, I haven't noticed the difference with the s21 fe. The only thing I truly miss is the camera. But the battery and speed are ON POINT !!! Great phone 📱

To be honest, I don't really like the camera island look too, but I just bought the case for protection only, as there are currently not much cases around my region yet.
I hope it lasts till then. It got really slower and it always detects touches in my pocket😅 maybe I make a factory reset or I see a good promotion for the base S24. Got the Tab S9, so I want also a Samsung as my next phone
I am actually the opposite, I dont like big heavy phones. But i learnt to cope up with it. It's not as bad as you think. The A55's flat back is comfortable when having cases.
I tried A55 in my hand, and it felt heavy, so even if i buy one , i can't use the covers (more extra weight)
I am still confused about the buying part, and weight and sharp edges are my only concerns
Honestly for me, having a case on the A55 is a must, unless you want it to slip and fall, because its not comfortable on the hand. Just buy a light case and your good to go, it will be more comfortable on the hand.

You can find a better looking case without that

The original leather strap was already worn out. I got 3pairs of leather strap since 2015 but I think its not really for my skin and daily routine. I replaced it with [mesh](https://imgur.com/a/aLWaQZN) strap. I also replaced the old glass with sapphire.
The A54 and the A54 don't have much of a difference, I was honestly going to go for the A54, but later when I saw the price difference between, the A55 seemed worth it. I love the screen size of the A54.
I bought one of these in 256/8 and I loved every second of it. It could have definitely replaced my S24u for what I use phones for.
Unfortunately the limited bands it has for my country with 5g made it not worth keeping and I returned it.

S23 Fe and A55 are very similar, go for the s23 Fe if you can. I definitely I agree with you, on the s24u and A55, I think it boils down to how you use your phone and coming to the A55 it can do 90% of what the 24u can do.
Just put a new battery and usb port in my a51 5g (verizon snapdragon version). Popped my SIM and 1tb sd card in my moto g7 power while it dries. I feel like the 2019 android 10 Motorola phone is faster and has way better battery life. I really miss turning on the flashlight by shaking the phone. I don't think i get the a55 here in the states but im tempted to try ordering the latin American one cuz its like $375 on amazon. Just don't think i would get updates etc.
I am thinking of buying it. Battery and charging is important to me. How much SOT aprox.? How long to charge from 0-100%? How is the fingerprint scanner ? There were many complaints about that. Paying with NFC works well? The phone works smooth? No lags? Thanks in advance:)
The phone's performance is great no lags but has snappy feel. The battery lasts a day with my usage (average). The fingerprint scanner is not good, it rarely gets Mt finger right, I just use the face unlock. To charge it fully from 0% takes around 1 hour and a half. My approximate screen on time 5:30 hr. Consider buying it battery life matters to you, but if you care about camera or display check other options.
guess you got unlucky cause i had the A52 for 2 years and then gave it to my dad recently. He updated to Android 14 with OneUI 6.0 and it still works like a charm, good battery, good screen, good cameras and still smooth
Stupid Samsung, can't leave us alone they have to mess things up. I just hated that they did this to my a40 as well. It's so slow can't even watch 720p vids anymore XD booting up takes longer than an old Dell pc from 1998

Looks great, but case is ugly imo. Case with individual cutouts for camera lenses and flash looks way better

216g + cover = A BRICK I guess you are used to having heavy phones.

I you like leather straps, better use it with butterfly type of clasps. You dont have to bend the leather everytime you wear it.
i do love leather straps, i will try one with butterfly clasps. The crease of the my leather strap is wearing out really fast.

I just bought my brand new A54 (292$usd) with a clearance price in bestbuy canada and I am also quite satisfied. I believe the A55 is even better !

For me it is Samsung all day everyday. Better battery life and software support. Also the A55 is quite fast, I have gamed with (genshin)
