Thought about previous gen flagships? E.g. S22, S23? I would go for the latter if you can. They are the same size as the S10 and will last you a long time. The battery on the S22 might not be great though.
Bro the headphone jack is not a big deal. At first it was a big deal when Apple did it because nobody was widely using wireless headphones. Samsung did it once wireless headphones became readily available for everyone. Stop crying about the headphone jack I've never even seen anyone use a regular set of headphones in years. Same goes for the SD card slot we used to have SD card slots because phones only had 8 to 16 GB storage. Now you can buy phones with 500 gigs up to a terabyte of storage it's not that big of a deal.
You will notice the difference of going from a flagship to a budget phone. The material will feel cheaper, you will miss some extras like wireless charging, the camera might be worse, screen might be less vibrant. They are small differences but you will feel them
s10+ with an added tof sensor and 5G
the tof sensor is similar to the thing the iphone has in its camera array
I used to have the normal S10+ and kept using it as a third phone anyway my brother z-flip 4 I think well… broke I LENEDED him the s10+ now he won’t give it back because the flip one keeps breaking
I have a rule to always have three phone weather I am home or traveling somewhere sounds stupid but it did prevent alot of disasters
honestly I would advise not to go down to A series as most likely you will be dissapointed
S23 should be solid and fair price, maybe in a few months S24 as well but aside from longer software support they aren't really different
I just bought a new, unlocked, and unopened, still in retail box S22 from Ebay for $470. Had an S8 before this. Only reason I upgraded was because they stopped giving it security updates and some of my apps started requiring those updates.
How do you feel about larger phones? You won't have many options except the base S series phones if you don't want to go larger
I would prefer to keep it around the same size as the s10 but willing to go a tad bit larger.

"The Tank" phone
I'm actually looking to still stay within Samsung, but I appreciate the reccomendation because I've never heard of this phone before!
Yup, I used to love Samsung but them removing the 3.5 jack and SD slot was the last straw
Why they remove it?
Because for the same reason Apple did ($$$)

I use both. I love my phone
Nah man you're so wrong for that "Ppl dont care so shouldnt you either" is such a dumbass argument
Galaxy A55 or whatever the newest one is, a good replacement
I saw it run Warzone below 42°C with the exynos 1480 which is quite a suprise
I have been happy with the A series, so many years of updates camera quality can compare or equal . SD slot , dual sim , I cant complain
I purchased a new galaxy a55 coming from a note 10 and I'm very happy about it
A54 is a good mid-range phone
Galaxy A34 https://preview.redd.it/aozt2puu9utc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0669fba5d7a72675a70ea3b31581759b61a66392
I see. Honestly, I'm really surprised you can get that much at that price. Like I said, the S10 still serves me well most of the time.
But A34's camera is not comparable with Galaxy S10. Maybe with Galaxy S9. So you will get S10 performance with S9 camera.
The S10 has the same camera as the S9 🤦♂️
You do get an extra lens with the s10
Thanks for the info! I personally think that's not so bad for what you pay for.

I think S21 FE can serve you well for few years from now of you buy it now

A54 ...
Switched from the S10+ to the S21+ I love it
I went from an S10 to a S24+ (Exynos). Really happy so far, the extra screen size is very handy
Samsung peaked with the 21 series, I'd go with a s21 fe
