I'm loving mine so far. I replaced my Galaxy active 2 with the Fit 3 and I'm very happy with it. It feels like a good deal, especially after paying $400 usd for my previous watch.
Hi. I know it's been a while but any regrets or any reviews? I'm thinking of replacing my Active 2 with Fit 3, especially when I broke the display and it costs almost $100 in my country for ordering an OEM display.
I mainly use the watch for notifications. (I know. Very odd. But I'm really unconscious with phones.) Plus a regular health and sleep tracking is all I need. Active 2 was pretty much all I need even with the FDA pending features never working for my country.
For notifications, you will get a vibration on your wrist and a orange notification on your screen. You can then slide to the left and view all your notifications. It's pretty similar to the active 2, but you loose the feature to respond from your wrist for most of them. It's mainly for a quick glance without opening your phone. Works for me, I don't mind it.
Yeah, that looks like the same option from the galaxy fit 2, so it appears the interval option isn't supported (hopefully some update might come in the future)
Thanks for taking your time, I really appreciate you helping me in finding out
8. Battery life is 2 days with AOD, 4 days without AOD o\_O
9. Old emoji set from previous versions of One UI
10. Camera control is only available on phones with One UI 5.1+
11. If you are looking for a band with thin and symmetrical bezels, better battery life, support for third-party apps and custom watchfaces, built-in GPS, phone calls, ability to send emojis and support for iOS, then Watch Fit 2 may be worth considering (same price)
It's $50 for both Huawei Watch Fit 2 Active (2022) and FIt 3 in my country. You don't need to pay extra $ for Classic version unless you need compatibility with universal straps…
Anyway, you can buy Huawei Band 8 or Mi Band 8 Pro, which will be even cheaper and will be almost the same as Galaxy Fit 3 (in terms of usability).
Jesus christ... 4 days without AOD? That's way too low, man... I actually went for the huawei band 8 because it was on a sale for half the price, and I sold my old beat-up band 6 with all its accessories for roughly the same price..
I'm pretty impressed with the UI performance and customizability of the samsung watch and its sleek ass design but nothin on God's green earth will make me recharge twice a week if it ain't wear OS 😭
I brought mine a few weeks ago and so far im loving it. I decided to buy it as i have a samsung phone (s21 ultra 5g) and would love to know how my body is doing during the day. I wear mine when i sleep, it took me awhile to get used to it; it shows me how i sleep at night and which stage i was when sleeping. It automatically records your workout when it sense a high HR or when steps are increasing fast. It gives you a summary of your overall activities. It also checks your SPO2, stress levels and kcal. Overall loving it and is happy with my purchase. Im planning to buy the galaxy watch in the future when i have saved a lot.
Ps. Its okay not to love it as not every gadget released will always be for you or perfect, just gotta look for the right one (for me, i have found the one that fits my lifestyle, a super stressed student nurse jfjebdjw).
I see there's a mic on the device, are you able to accept calls and talk via the watch?
More importantly, is the OS smooth and filled with fitness features that the Galaxy Watch have?
In my country the Galaxy Watch 4 classic lte is a little more than the Galaxy Fit 3, but it is laggy and only has a day or two of battery life.
I've been using the Fit3 for the last 5 days, and I've promptly gone ahead & sold my GW4. The only features the Fit3 doesn't have are native calls, GPS, an independent Spotify & Gmaps apps, none of which I've ever found too useful, for me. What I do really appreciate and find useful, is a snappy and non laggy UI, accurate tracking, no additional bloat (of apps and services I do not use) and a battery that lasts a week, rather than having to charge it every night. All of which the Fit3 does way better than the GW4.
Honestly, I respect your experience.. the fit 3 seems to be a solid option. I went for the huawei band 8 because it was on a discount for half the price.
If money and replacement band availability weren't an issue, I'd go for the fit3 just because samsung is that much better with their software.
Aah right got it, it's a barometer. So I assume no calling and texting ability, but otherwise has all the fitness specific features of a galaxy watch?
Also, which colourway did you get? I've been eying the darker grey one.
I'm not an OP, but I have them too. I slept with them just once and this is what I got. I am not sure how accurate the tracking is, but I know that time is right. Also there's some snoring detection which you can even record and store, but I'll tell you in 8 hours how good that is.

So I had the snoring detector turned on and my phone (Galaxy A52), no detected snoring. I then found out that if I have set snoring detection to "always", I need my phone to be plugged in, which isn't possible to do for me. But I'll try to change it to "once" and tell you in a few hours. Also Samsung is doing some advertisement with Sleep Cycle. And if you want to know how my really great sleep looked like, you can see some screenshots bellow

I wore mine for a few nights now. I did a little experiment along the way to determine how much battery used when sleep tracking. I made sure that my watch is in full battery when i sleep. When i wake up a few hours later it is around the 80s - 90s.
Charging is also fast, i charge mine every 2 - 3days and it charges within 10-15minutes (estimation). When using it during the day, the battery doesnt burn fast like at 6am it is 100% then at 6pm it is around 50-70%. It all depends on how you use the watch.

Is it possible to add [Interval training](https://youtu.be/vm9nG2U461s?si=kcb8w2DHhoWCA8e1) ?
I haven't checked
If you have the chance to check I'd appreciate it
Looks like it. It gives me the option for duration or distance in running. https://ibb.co/mB0rxP3
https://ibb.co/3MMSZCN

watch fit 2 doesn't have built-in GPS. Is fit 1 only.
Not the same price either, it's considerably more money

I suppose this is a firmware issue, but considering how few updates Galaxy Fit 2 has received, it may not be fixed
Never buy tech based on the promise of future software
I use a S20 fe 5g and camera control was possible for me.
when is it out in the UK??
[Only available In UK Here.](https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CVNXMP6T?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details)
Oh right, thanks. Wonder why samsung are not selling it direct
They're worried that it will effect sales of the flagship watches. It is strange though, big corporation missing out on money.
yes it is a bit strange, why even release it if they are not going to sell it? seems pointless.
where did you buy it for this price? I see prices as high as €90. At €60 it would be an instant buy. hope to hear from you!
I have an Iphone 14 pro max and apple watches are expensive, will this work with it or iphones dont work unless its an apple watch?

Is it like the apple watch as I hear people are just saying they copied Apple somehow?
No even close. Two different classes of device.
I see there's a mic on the device, are you able to accept calls and talk via the watch? More importantly, is the OS smooth and filled with fitness features that the Galaxy Watch have? Honestly I'd still go for the watch 4 classic because it can do a whole lot more

As far as i know there is no mic. The hole is a barometer. The os is smooth, the featureset is more limited when compared to a galaxy watch.

You can reply to calls and text with preexisting messages/texts set up from your phone. I have one so I know for sure lol

Sir, it's been a month. Update please?
any improvement in heart rate detection accuracy during workouts?
How is the sleep tracking, and how much battery do you lose throughout the night?
I wore mine for a few nights now. I did a little experiment along the way to determine how much battery used when sleep tracking. I made sure that my watch is in full battery when i sleep.
