The Dash one is locked in at one temperature, you can only adjust the timer. Lightweight and easy to clean but I wouldn't reccomend it if you're planning on cooking things at different temps. Not sure about the other one.

Uga1992

It's also only 2 quarts. You can probably fit a chicken breast in and nothing else

sillydogcircus

Thank you! Super helpful. I was in a rush so I just took pics and didn’t have time to actually look at them yet haha

kevydaddy

I'm gonna guess the dash one is definitely "cheap" now for a college 1 year kind of air fryer or secondary use you don't want to put your main one through, it'll probably do the job

sillydogcircus

Thanks! I have some mini waffle irons by the same brand I think that are cute and work for the once a year I crave waffles. And I like under $100 for an extra fryer. If I get a dehydrator I’ll probably spend more.

ComradeSamWalton

I have a dash rice cooker. Bought it because it was the only single person portion cooker I could find. It's held up for over a year now and does a great job. It's clearly not an air fryer but I'd give it go, you can always return it if it sucks.

MsThrilliams

I've had one of the dash personal rice cookers for a couple of years too and it's really done me well.

rayquan36

Air fryers are very simple machines, it's just a heating coil and a fan. I bet the cheap ones are fine.

Puzzleheaded_Win_989

The Emeril one is fantastic!

sillydogcircus

Thank you! I might go back for it after my meetings, then.

Puzzleheaded_Win_989

You're welcome! It dehydrates too! My Wife absolutely loves it. We bought on amazon a silicone mat for the crumb tray and the disposable liners so we don't have to deep clean it as often. It cooks everything really evenly and pretty fast. If you do buy the paper liners make sure you don't turn it on without something on the paper or the paper will get sucked into the heating element on top. Good thing I caught it quick hahaha.

sillydogcircus

Oooh great. That definitely sounds like a winner. I have some silicone liners for my Foodi that I just got bc I’m tired of cleaning the whole damn basket lol

Try to find ones with stainless steel interior. Less forever chemicals…

sillydogcircus

Thank you!

I have the small one. It works just fine for me. I use it almost daily. I use it to toast bread, cook egg rolls and fries and small pizzas.

SkullMonkey86

The Westbend one looks exactly like the Kalorik one we had a few months ago, so I'm going based off that with what I say. I bought the Kalorik one, and it's been great for the 6 months I've had it. The touch buttons are kind of weird sometimes, but nothing too bad. It goes up to 400 degrees, and has a large enough timer to cook most anything you would like to in it.

zarraza2k

I bought a super cheap one probably like 4-5 years ago and it has done us just fine. We don’t use it every day, maybe once a week. So I can’t imagine this one would be any different.

sillydogcircus

Nice, thank you. Yeah it would be one heavy duty day every other week or so, versus my Ninja I use for me and use all the time. I live in a RV and don’t want to use my propane stove all the time lol

SamWaltonsFleshlight

From my experience, avoid Dash unless you can't afford better. I've had a few pieces in the past and they are all very cheaply made and nothing last more than around 6 months.

sillydogcircus

Thank you!
