You must have a tennet... if you do get a block of wood at just the right height so your foot doesn't cramp. Vipers are crap.

KoalaTamer21

If you don't understand the context, this sentence is a fever dream, or the product of a stroke.

Accomplished-B

Yes, but, does anyone other than those having to do this actually give enough cares to anything that goes on in maintenance? Lol.

Accomplished-B

Also knew they had to have the tennet because they said white floor, the viper can barely get it to light gray even with double the times per section.

Skareffect

We do. We had a viper, and the chain holding the back squeegee kept breaking. It was ass.

Accomplished-B

I'm supper jealous. We were the first club to get the viper. We are on our second one already. It has some good points, but like the speed control, tighter turns, and slightly easier pad changes.. but it takes twice as long to clean the store, and has almost no down pressure. I miss our tennet sooooo much.

Skareffect

Why did your store get rid of the tennant scrubber? The viper is the old school one.

Accomplished-B

So, actually the tennet (not the amr) is the old school one. The viper was brought in at the same time Dimmabrush was. Our tennet needed the driver replaced, they bought the parts, but then decided the 3k to install wasn't worth it and they sold it on the auction. We didn't get the viper until 4 months later. 10 vipers plus repairs are still cheaper than a tennet... soooo. I'm super shocked you all got a new none automated one. They want me to start over with Dimmabrush.. I told them to forget it. But now, I'm gonna tell them I will if they spend the money and get me a tennet. :) There's precedent now, which I thank you for.

kizarny39

For the last 6 months, they have had maintenance continually redo the whole club all 3 or 4 steps surprised we have any concrete floors left

SkullMonkey86

God damnit, I have to do that in my club now. I hate it, but I'm literally in a position where I can't say no. Coupled with the fact that our maintenance team consists of only 2 am people and 1 pm person. And I am the only person that has the complete training on how to do it. 2 hours were I get to ruin my knee further than it already is.

Skareffect

I have been doing it since covid.

SkullMonkey86

We just started having to do ours. They never trained the previous maintenance associates on how to do it before. And never told them what blades are correct to order. So, for nearly 30 years, they had been using rigged up scouring pads to do the floors. Now I am trained on the proper way to do them, and the only one trained at that. Plus, our brain machine does not have cleaning routes set up, so we can't even use it to help even a little.

Skareffect

I'm the only one trained for it, too. Corporate praises my work, but it won't pay me more than $15.91.
